I have the option to get a drill/ combo set right now for work. I work on machines and a big use for the impact driver will be removing bolts that may need a little extra mmmph. My boss owns the Makita 18V 1.5 ah Impact Driver and it works wonders, performs great. I wanted something smaller but I don't know if it will cut it and wanted your opinions. I was looking that the 10.8V which is 800 in/lbs torque vs the 18V 1280 in/lbs. I know Milwaukee is a good brand but when I looked at their 12V impact driver I saw that it is only 150 in/lbs torque is that right? How do these stack up to each other? Any advice would be great. BTW, I was hoping to have the drill attached to my belt or fit in a smaller tool bag, which is why I wanted the smaller one.
