  1. Yeah these are pretty good. I have one in my center console of my truck and just put loose stuff. Its my man purse lol
  2. Wow thats a good size job. Your best bet is going to Home Depot and renting something or another local rental place. Your right a gas powered saw would rip through that. Home Depost rents out the Hilti DS which would be perfect for the job. The Hilti is very efficient and doesn't produce a lot of gas fumes etc. Too bad you couldn't do it at night or weekend where it doesn't matter about the gas motor. The problem is that most walk behinds are gas powered because of the application they are used for. Electric wouldn't make it. You would need at least 220V and your not going to find that on everywall. Some of the handhelds you can find in electric. Husqvarna makes some models that run on 110 that might do the trick. Way too much to buy around $800, so you can see if your local rental place has these, if not see what they have. The only other option I would recommend is when you are driving and see a construction zone, stop and talk with those guys to see if you can borrow one of the walk behind concrete cutters. That would rip right through the floor, plus what is under neath. Just kidding. Dynamite might work.
  3. I agree. Hilti rocks. Nothing tops it.
  4. All are great jigsaws, but I would go with Bosch. Not knocking Dewalt as there are a contractor tool, but Bosch is known for their jigsaws. Look around any jobsite and you will see Bosch. If it can take the abuse there, it can take it anywhere. The Dewalt does have a lot of nice features. Bosch is more expensive for two reasons. First the name. They build great tools and their name is know by all contractors, so that adds a little more. The second and main reason is they are by far a true professional grade manufacture. Bosch doesn't try to capture the home market like Dewalt and Freud, they focus on the professional market which means they compeat against Hilti and other top companies. They can not afford to build junk. Yes you will pay more, but you get more. Trust me, the Bosch jigsaw will outlast its time. What I mean is the 1590EVSk will still be running when the new class of jigsaws come out in the future that are lighter etc, way beyond the Lithium stage. Go with the Bosch
  5. Why do i want someone elses problems. I would rather spend a couple extra dollars and buy new.
