  1. Anyone heard of any new OSHA regulations coming through. I went to their site, but didn't see anything. We are finishing a couple of things up and getting ready to install the new fire Extinguisher. Someone was telling me they need to be 4' -5' now. I haven't seens anytthing yet. Anyone know
  2. Quit buying cheap router bits. Just joking, but seriouly don't by the bargin bin bits. Your probably getting the heat build up because the bits are dull. Oak will eat up the blades in no time, so you need a good bit. When the edges of the bit are dull, you are causing your Hitachi to do more work, hence more heat build up. Also blow out the motor vents, so you can get some nice cool air to enter the motor housing and cool things down. It is natural to get some heat, but not excess heat.
  3. The makita all the way. It has a light, very powerful and very light. I am not sure the weight. We have been using some of the Makita lines for over 10 years and they hold up. Great tools. The batteries last a long time. However when we did have to replace the batteries, they were very expensive, but I guess all of them are. We do commercial construction and they have held up the best, at least that is my two cents.
  4. I have the RS20 which is corded. We have used this on everything. It is 13amps and great. Someone just needs to start making blades that can keep up with demanding work. Blades are very expensive and you can rip through a bunch in no time. We started a job at a strip mall about two months ago, yeah we couldn't believe there was work either. We did a bunch of demo jobs for a couple store fronts and the Bosch was great. Wouldn't go with anything else.
