  1. I think the newer bosch and rockwell tools also have it
  2. This is the guy I am talking about.
  3. No the M12 does not have a quick blade change its a great tool except for that omission. It's an older tool oscillating multi tool before the quick blade changes became common.
  4. Yea I still don't get why Dewalt does not have a oscillating multi tool when they have one a really nice one allready made for porter cable. All they need to do is change the battery connector and the color.
  5. I was having an insomniac moment and was watching some of the really old videos on your youtube channel, There was a guy that was reviewing the tools that I had never seen before, and I was wondering if anyone knew who he was and what's the story with him. I see Eric pop into later video's and then you seen Dan even later
  6. I tried to view the pictures but I got an error message about not having permission to do that.
  7. I think Dewalt is supposed to have a media event soon I have no idea what tools they might announce, but lately dewalt is kinda slow releasing tools for the 20 volt max line. I have the Milwaukee m12 multitool the thing I don't like is it does not have a tool less blade change. I would go with the porter cable because you get more tools to chose from with that battery system. Ryobi has a multi tool also and itcan also use the rigid job max heads, also ryobi has a huge line a tools to choose from. The only problem with the ryobi one is its only sold as a bare tool so I don't know how much buying a charger and a battery and tool will end up costing.
  8. Unless its some crazy plastic with carbon fiber I don't see how they could go to plastic with the torque these new tools are producing. It might be just be for the lower end Dewalt 99 dollar drills you see for sale all the time they just sell them to they dyier that does not know better. The old xrp and 20v max are designed and built to handle contractor grade punishment. Wow, I didn't write a post bashing Dewalt like I have been lately.
  9. Milwaukee 12v line has more choices of bare tools to grow your collection of power tools. I have the small hackzall and It's been a great little tool.
  10. For a hammer drill it did a good job. Wouldn't want to be doing that all the time with it that's kinda drilling is where yea bring out the rotary hammer which bosch has some really nice ones out now.
  11. It's tools in action UK style you are even rocking the high visabilty jack like dan does.
  12. Yea, I have the paslode lion trim nailer, but I'm tempted to pick this up because Ryobi does tend to release some one off tools.
  13. http://www.homedepot.com/p/t/203810823?productId=203810823&storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&ci_sku=203810823&ci_kw={keyword}&kwd={keyword}&cm_mmc=shopping-_-googleads-_-pla-_-203810823&ci_gpa=pla#.UUfHBVe2WKJ Well ryobi just released this I'm really surprised this didn't end up as a Milwaukee tool first it's going to hurt other cordless nailers and pneumatic nailer sales. 129 is cheap compared to anything else on the market. If they have a 16ga angled nailer it's really going to hurt.
  14. Yea I think that merger really messed things up regarding product lines and R&D.
  15. Yea, I dunno either for being the only American owned major power too company left . The only thing I can think of it's not their own design they just bought the rights sell it as a Dewalt. I dunno Dewalt's product launches confuse me more than anything. Look at the Jobsite radio for the 20v max tools.
  16. Well they delayed the release of the cordless framing nailer in the us market till 2014. I just don't get why Dewalt is taking so long releasing tools their 18/20v lineup it's the the smallest in the market. I was going to say I'm glad I don't own any stanley black and decker stock, but it's doing pretty good so guess I could be wrong about everything.
  17. Well that fancy cordless nailer they have been showing around has been delayed a whole year for the USA market. I just don't get it Dewalt why does it seem to take forever them to get things to market like the job site radio all most 3 years for a 20v max job site radio.
  18. Aeg tools in Australia use the same rigid tool design, but offer more tools like an sds drill and angle grinder in an 18v format.

Sorry I left things a little open ended about winning the pc impact I ended up falling asleep early last night.
  20. The only down side to the 20v max is you still can't get some of the tools as a bare tool like the sds drill. Milwaukee consistently offers the bare tool right at the launch of the tool. Like conductor mentioned i just ended up going with Milwaukee just because I liked the fuel drill and impact driver better.

I know this probably isn't the place to post this, but I was wondering if it would be a good idea to combine most of the sub forums on this forum. If it only had maybe 4-5 categories it would make the forum look more active and create more traffic, and maybe then re add some sub forums if needed.

Yea It's pretty sad when the ryobi boom box will charge batteries. Hey Just to let you know ChrisK from the latest video you won a Porter Cable 20v impact so get in contact with dan or eric.

That could very well happen they seem to be making every tool you can think of with the m12 line. I wonder what they sell more of the m12 or m18 tools. One think I would have considered is keeping the old m12 drills and impact and maybe selling it with one battery as a budget diy tool prosumer grade tool.

Well from what I read it the v18 was just bad all around. Milwaukee should have offered a buyout, or extended warranty to users of the v18 series to help with the negative publicity. I love my 12v and 18v milwaukee tools I had the 20v dewalt set and it annoyed me it took over 2 years to release a jobsite radio plus they didn't offer any bare tools for the longest time also , so I sold it and moved over to milwaukee for my 18v tools. The only thing that I wish milwaukee would use an lbox type system and offer a radio as nice as the bosch that jobsite radio is amazing.
