Usually they drop new tools at big events World of concrete being one, and individual company events during the summer. They also can just do surprise drops of new tools during the year too.
I think Makita concentrates on RPM over torque right now, for the most part impact drivers don't really need much more power for most fasteners. Even in decks ledger locks are taking over from big lag bolts now.
I'm curious too as it's supposed to have carbon fiber in it!! I wonder what it will be obviously something summer related a little late for a winter release
Pretty happy with Ego the only thing is I had a 7.5ah battery go bad on me recently. They took care of me but that kinda freaked me out now cheap to replace!!!
I don't know your situation but your probably better off buying a Ryobi starter kit when they have them than trying to get the Dewalt drill running again sadly the performance is probably better on the Ryobi tool also and you have so many other tools to add on later. Sadly fixing tools unless its some high dollar tool originally like a big corded hilti sds is never really worth it.
Why would I buy the Bostich cordless nailers over Dewalt? maybe a few dollars cheaper but the batteries are not compatible with anything else really. SBD needs to streamline and make some packs compatible between brands this is getting a little crazy.
Would metabo's new unit work? https://www.metabo.com/uk/en/tools/vacuums-and-extraction/all-purpose-vacuum-cleaner/
Looks like Hilti has one don't want to know the price though. https://www.hilti.co.uk/cordless-systems/cordless-vacuum-cleaners/r44936
I have the Ego self propelled model the battery mowers are so much lighter you don't really notice it like an old heavy gas model. If you have a bigger yard with hills maybe you still want a self propelled model. Just my experience.
