Thanks for the info. If I take it apart, how could I tell if the switch is making contact? Not sure what to look for or how to test it.

I recently bought a Milwaukee drill/driver at a garage sale. Reversablle but now it won't reverse. It will extract screws but not drive them. Any idea what the problem is and what it might cost to fix it? Or should I just chuck it? Thanks
