  1. It will be a kitchen table. I have four bar style chairs to match!
  2. Its been a while since I've been on here! I've been super busy with student teaching and just recently graduating from college! Anyways, I have finally gotten enough time to finish up the kitchen table I started at the beginning of the year. Its been a long road with this thing. Over xmas break I had the table finished and had my stain ordered and on its way. After the break was over I went in to stain my table and the top had cracked in two spots! I was pretty disappointed and the table set for a little while until I decided it wasn't going to finish itself setting in there. So I started back in on it and got her done! I'm pretty pleased with the results.

    Kreg Jigs

The big difference in between the two is with the k5 you have the longer arms that come out for support/storage. They will both get the job done. Kreg Jig is a staple in many cabinet makers toolbox. I use my k5 all the time! So to answer your question I think the k4 will probably be sufficient to do what your needing it to and to save 40 bucks.
  4. Jet makes good stuff. I have two powermatic drill presses that are probably 30 years old. They perform flawlessly.
  5. Thanks guys. My university had a woodworking convention and I went to a few sessions. One session was just about jigs it was awesome. I'll try to get the plans scanned and sent to you guys!
  6. Here is an awesome picture frame jig I put together for gluing up. This thing works great. A lot better than my strap clamp. If anyone would like the plans I could probably scan them and send them on over. Here it is without anything in it. Here it is with with a picture frame

    New toy.

Received my new DeWalt wet dry vac in the mail today! I used it on a few things seems to work well. Not as well as my big shop vac but will be nice for vacuuming out the truck and small jobs without having to mess with the cords.
  8. I posted this on my phone and for some reason it posted in the wrong place!
  9. I saw this video and thought I would share it with everyone. What an inspiration this guy is to people with and without disabilities! http://www.youtube.com/embed/qiLDMBDPCEY?rel=0

  11. I don't have any experience with that particular drill press..but I used a lot of Delta machinery and they make pretty good stuff.
  12. DeWalt's new torque rated bits! It will be hard to top the Makita gold bits. I need pick some of these up and give em a test! http://toolguyd.com/dewalt-flextorq-impact-bits/
