  1. That's funny about those pencils. Always lose mine. One day I figured it might be cause they were round and rolled easily. Especially if laid beside my miter saw or anything else that vibrated. Bought a box of flat carpenter pencils, and it did help, some. The last one Iost, I looked forever to find it, and I did. Behind my ear. Thanks for the post/pic on the tape measure. It looks like agood one.
  2. Our web site is up and running ! Featuting over 90% USA made products. About half of product entered. If you have time please check it out, http://www.usatoolsupply.com/.%C2'> Thanks
  3. I agree with you. SK would do well with a tool truck. The only disadvantage may be the diversity of product lines. I like the Superchrome finish and the SureGrip wrench design of their combo's.
  4. You are lucky. Very few remember those times. My grandfather 1894-1986 told me when he was a kid everything you bought cost a flat $1.00, $ 5.00 etc. He always joked about this .99 cents and $ 1.99 prices. Un-American he said. It was the early 60's and all we had close to the farm was the Coast to Coast store. Back then most all the imported stuff was from Japan. I was only a kid, 10 years old but remember how he would turn items over and look at where they were made . If it wasn't America he was furious, " Why do they sell this imported stuff when the same thing is made right here in the USA ? " I thought he was just a cranky old man. Looking at the decline of American jobs today, I realize he was looking to the future. Now, I think he was a cranky old genius !
  5. I like the Wright & SK brands. Not overpriced and American made. They are right between the China " use once and break " stuff and the high dollar " tool truck " wrenches.
  6. My guys have been using the Milwaukee, the tool room supplies this brand and I think it is as good as any. They have some Fein brands made in Germany they are demoing now. They seem to do the job well also. Time will tell. Good luck !
