  1. Same here, probably a pile of cucumbers and KY to boot.
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3CWLCoQu7c#t=29
  3. Yeah it has to be a new battery. They need magnetic field coils and circuitry for inductive charging.
  4. Why would you want a setup like that? Especially hooking to a breaker on the wall in stead of a switch on the saw?
  5. Well there are a couple of big differences. Klein acquired a company that makes hundreds of different scissors and shears. The electrician shears are palm sized and made to cut shielding and strip wires. The jobsite scissors are made to cut paper.
  6. I'm all for expansion of a brand, but, if your a tool company, why the hell expand into stationary? What's next note pads and greeting cards?
  7. Pretty close race between this guy and the Russian that made the chainsaw out of a grinder.
  8. Jobsite Scissors??! For when the crew wants to make paper snowflakes at lunch time?
  9. I know what you mean. Between the meth heads and heroin making a big comeback there's been a surge in break ins around here lately. I put up motion lights, locks on the fence gates, and bigger locks on the garage.
  10. For any who may have missed the Pro premiere, I'll just put this here.
  11. My brother in-law is a journeyman, he's hard on apprentices. He sees it as though you'll either wash out, or you'll be a hell of an electrician when he's done with you. You have to understand their name is linked to you, and they don't want to be attached to someone doing a half assed job so they don't look like shit too. Basically if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
  12. Couldn't help myself!
  13. Actually Sears is killing the Hometown and outlet stores. They're spinning off as many brands as they can, like lands end and craftsman selling them through other retailers. Sears will keep their heads above water for a few more years by selling kmart and real estate. Unless they pull a bunny out of their ass they won't last as a retailer. The sears here is now in a 700sq ft office space. Once it closes there won't one within 300 miles. I'll agree with DR if you're buying craftsman warranty could be a pain or nonexistent in the future.
  14. Odd how many pics are of brand new tools. I could see taking a pic and having a couple of new tools, but some of them look like two grand of brand new stuff.
  15. One of the funniest videos I've seen in a long time. If you can't see it then search YouTube fot Jack after wisdom tooth removal.
  16. There's a music festival in the Gorge at George called Sasquatch. Apparently 20s age Canadian kids love that festival. We're the first big store after the border and there were tons of dudes wearing capris. Let's just hope it doesn't catch on here.
  17. I got in trouble for teasing that I was putting one in the bedroom. GF: "What I do isn't good enough?!" Me: GULP!
  18. My opinion for what it's worth. When I was a meat cutter I got a Cutco as a loaner from a rep. Honestly I don't get the hype. I get the whole USA made thing, but, the handle was awkward, 440A stamped steel, the same grade and technique you can pick up at any big box store for much less. It's good for pocket knives and homeowner use. Cutco is extremely overpriced. They are a homeowner grade knife for a premium pro grade price. Would you pay a Milwaulkee Fuel price for B&D? Victorinox and Henckle put out better knives for less or similar money. Unless they've changed in the last few years, Cutco will often pro-rate returns. Which means you can actually pay up to 50% for a replacement if they decide that you've misused the knife. Free sharpening, except for the shipping, unless you can wait for a rep to show up. It's kinda like powertools, ask the pros what they use and how much they cost. I've never seen or heard of a meat cutter or chef use Cutco because of the quality vs price. Most cutters go with German steel while chefs usually use Japanese. Edit: As for the loaner, it took the rep two months to pick up a one week loaner.
  19. Why couldn't he pick GI Joe, He-man, ya know something manly. Better yet Skeletor, that woulda been bad ass! At least then buffing his face with a power drill wouldn't have looked so prissy.
  20. That's pretty awesome. Must be for a metal band. Lol
