Register your tools! If somebody steals them... http://professional-power-tool-guide.com/power-tool-forum/index.php?/topic/1376-stolen-equipment/?hl=stolen I wrote this for heavy equipment a while back but it applies to small equipment. My Festool too.s are all registered on Festools website where they offer a tool box so to speak with pertinent information. Bosch, Makita and Milwaukee all have similar benefits to joining their sites as does Dewalt. I'm sure others do too, I just know for a fact that these guys do. Don't use tape. Engraving is awesome. Make sure you take a "family photo" of your too.s in the event of theft or fire.
  2. Welcome to the forum! Remember the money might be there but if you get summer vacation, what better time to build?! Glad to have you here!
  3. Well having one 36v Makita, I can say this actually looks really impressive. Nice find!
  4. Love it. That and build it bigger!
  5. Thanks madman, was curious. DR, they won't let you have them? Our city approved a policy so we can but since some neighbors moved in down the street the Hawks of been a regular addition to our skyline!
  6. We've got guys on here that use that saw professionally and have nothing but great things to say about it so I'm pretty sure your golden dude!
  7. I used my Dewalt DCD985 to pre drill all of my Tapcons then hammered them in with my impact driver. I did this because I was also screwing PT 2x4 into the base, met wall to make a half wall to support plumbing and also give me the ability to have wood walls in part of my shop. Anyways, worked slick as snot for me.
  8. No problem Michael, glad to help sir! Let us know what happens!
  9. Hey alright Turner! You got an awesome saw dude. That was a real contender for me and the XPS light is the best light out there in my opinion! Congratulations on getting a great lol that'll last you a LONG time!
  10. Hey, great work. Any consolation, I start my plans the exact same way madman. What's the rear section for in your design?
  11. rrich1 looks awesome dude. Love that picnic table especially, really sturdy looking and not sore on the eyes. As far as the Adirondacks go? I'm a New Englander. We love Adirondacks. Awesome job dude!
  12. Michael, good idea to return them. Bosch is decent to deal with on returns. As far as the wireless comment, Bosch has come out with a wireless charger and battery set up. I've got two and they are fantastic to work with. Unfortunately, regular Bosch batteries can't fit on the wireless charger because of a design in the case (it flares out to grab the walls of the charger.) I imagine there some electronics too, so it can communicate with the charger. You CAN charge wireless batteries on the regular charger though!
  13. Pretty cool @NaluRash is this where you work?
  14. Hahahahahahaha that's awesome! Funny stuff DR!
