  1. Welcome to the forum cave! From up on Jericho Mt!
  2. Hahahaha who me??? Seriously the back pack is holding up awesome but remember I'm a diy woodworker, not a pro. The bag is super durable and I kick it all over the shop floor when it's in the way. The bottom is like a tire. As far as the Can Am? Well that gets a pressure wash after every ride. On account that I'm a neat freak and 10k is a lot of money. But....,I have to pressure wash it cause it's gotten quite a bit of use and some thick mud. I'm not a mud guy but if it's there.....Today we're going to be scaling some pretty tall mountains so I'll take some pics and post me!
  3. I've got the Klein Tradesman Pro. It's so awesome it's getting used on my ATV too! It's got a heavy duty rubber bottom and the front pouch is reinforced so you can use it as a work surface. It's also got an armored pouch at the top. The armored pouchis the bees knees for electronics, which is what it's used for in the shop. Plus it's camouflage so the enemy can't see me coming! Or actually going as the case is.... http://www.amazon.com/Klein-Tools-55421BP-14-Tradesman-Organizer/dp/B00NU9TBDK/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1436606456&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=klein+camo+backpack
  4. Thanks for the info on the inversion bed. When I was a young man working rescue, I was pulling a pregnant lady out of her car after a serious crash. I was 22 at the time and had bent over to help her lay down on the gurney and felt a pop in my pelvis. Femur head came out of the socket! . Now I'll be 45 in a few weeks and when that thing goes, watch out. Happens several times a year. My back has been injured since the same time when I was coming home from work I was rear ended by an 18 wheeler. Was coming back from a 24 hour tour at work and was about 30 minutes from home. Back and neck problems ever since. When I finish up my basement shop and post the newest pictures you'll see all of the dense mats on the ground and they're there for a reason. Back problems suck guys.
  5. torontotoolman and dwain, you guys outta send those over to Milwaukee! Adorable stuff guys!
  6. I'll try to remember to take a family photo for you. Heading up north with my new Can Am to Jericho in the AM for an all day trip so maybe Sunday. I'll try to remember!
  7. Have you tried cutting wood with it yet? I hear what your recording too but I don't have a Dewalt jig so I can't speak to whether or not that's normal.
  8. Thank guys and thanks for watching! Yeah Jason, that was pretty cool!
  9. Hubba bubba! Your going to LOVE that impact gun NaluRash. Smart move too, now you've got a great tool for cutting up conduit.
  10. Darn. Oh okay, it's warm and humid.
  11. Hey guys, I just shot an Unboxing video. I just received an early birthday present in the mail. The Bosch DDH181X-01 Brute Tough drill!!! Thanks Eric and Dan! This guy is a freakin' beast! I'm going to be shooting another video and add it to this post comparing it to my other heavy duty beast, the Dewalt DCD985 drill I love. What's so cool is the fact that this guy comes with the 4.0 ah batteries and the new BC630 rapid charger. Hope you guys like the video and thanks for watching! Tools in Action Baby!!!!!!!
  12. Yup same here. Love my M12 Fuels. And the compact battery is a bonus. Although according to the article they'll keep the grip battery lineup too?! How the heck will they keep that up? Kind of like Dewalts pod battery lineup? Of course Dewalt has been slack in getting new tools out this year promises to be a big one for them! Nice to see Makita trying something though with the 12v line but I think what they should've done is done what Milwaukee did and into the XC pack and then advance the lineup. Not intro a different line of 12v. Look at Bosch, they too have kept their grip batteries and have been introducing more new tools. That's how to do it!
  13. Ryobi is a great brand. I have a buddy that's a general contractor and all of his cordless tools are Ryobi. My Dad is retired and still does custom cabinetry and general contracting way on the side and most of his tools are Ryobi. Personally I own one Ryobi and it is the Airstrike Brad nail gun. Awesome nail gun. I absolutely love it. I've also got a Ryobi saw stand that's not to shabby either.
  14. Stupid link didn't go through!
  15. http://www.ereplacementparts.com/ Super good to deal with.
  16. I'm with Ricky. Awesome for work tables. I have two MFT's and aside from all the heavy duty aluminum the tops are MDF. Super dense and you can hammer on it. Just don't get it wet!
  17. Welcome aboard @snarf and glad to have to here. As far as I can tell that looks like a,pro tool storage unit and you should be proud of it dude! We've got a lot of pros on this site and a lot of hobbyist / DiY people here with varying experience. Thanks for posting and keep putting those new tools to good use. The end result is pretty frikin' awesome!
  18. Too good a deal Shuutr. Should have it in a few days.
  19. Oh heat! Wait a second....now I need a Bosch stool! Same as my Dewalt..... http://commerce.workflowoneaccess.com/UI/Customer.aspx?p=productview&catid=HuYtjYBtRP3NAI5Cf7q9oiwM7t7tB3xEgj4y-s70xBWoa0WPYRnrAbQ-e-e&catinteropID=27DDAFEE-BE3D-4755-8EA3-A59FF04ECEE8&productID=nUQ6sLzhP2Ts1LbIIiZhaw6VOeynKXniZsdrOYXLOpQWdg-sAWc-sSeg-e-e&ProductInteropID=01-07056050-BC-9084&CEI=ae0c7fa8-6058-4bc9-ba3e-c87ec219c028
  20. Pah! Get the Dewalt stool. It spins!
  21. I'm with DR. Get the larger blade. Finding those little blades will be a pain plus the size really limits the use. Oh, and welcome to the forum!
  22. I'd like to add, having a drill driver is an essential too though. I'm not sure what you have for tools but I'm just basing my opinion on the multi functionality of the impact of you had to chose between the two. I use my drill more than I use my impact but I've got multiple tools.
  23. Keep in mind too NaluRash that the Fuel impact has two power / speed settings. I think it might be a good bet to go with the impact. Screwing in cabinet fasteners on low with the Fuel impact is a breeze.
