  1. Going to my new Mom in Laws for a barbecue today and bringing my new Can Am to give the kids a ride. Probably making a small storage box for my Tundra though to store some of the straps and act as a block to keep said Can Am from making a new entrance in the back of said Tundra.
  2. Remember that B&D used to make some really high quality tools back in the day. Dewalt is still the pro line for their company and have been pretty innovative in product design. I would add that B&D has a huuuuuuuuuuuge following in the DIY and outdoor power tool market. There a reason they are still a big company. I think they share back and forth with product design as does TTI with their companies too. I don't think Dewalt has that much hate here on the forum. Milwaukee has a huge fan base here on TiA whereas Dewalt's forum was merged into TiA. Dewalt still has a large presence here on TiA. Makita interestingly enough is starting to get a larger base here on the forum too. Ryobi has some serious fanatics also, ask Kato. As a matter of fact ask me. I love....no LOVE my Airstrike Brad nailer. B&D for the most part is unheard of on the forum, some people bring it up occasionally but it's infrequent. I still tout my B&D Autosense 20v drill though. It is by far the most comfortable grip of any drill and it's super useful for not overdriving screws. But the most hated group in TiA, based on their World Power background, arrogance and complete lack of social etiquette when it comes to their natural superiority.....indeed the "Master Race" of power tools is Festool. If you walked into my shop you'd see... Dewalt, Bosch, Makita, Milwaukee and even my B&D Auto Sense and Ryobi Airstrike. Of course those tools ALWAYS come in second to my Festools
  3. Geesh EE! Glad your okay and thanks for the safety reminder!
  4. Welcome aboard KJ! Happy Fourth!
  5. What DR99 said! Battery platforms are a big deal and the big guys learned from Milwaukees blunder then Dewalts. The V18 and the 18v pods were replaced by these new styles and the companies realize the financial impact it takes on the consumer and felt it with the last two changes. I seriously doubt there will be any changes to the M18 battery platform . If anything, look at Bosch and wireless charging. They didn't change the battery slide style, then new the packs were good, they just made them better. Those wireless batteries are the bees knees and fit in all of the 18v Li line tools.

  13. Welcome to the forum Jerry, lots of experienced pros, diyers, and BSers here for you to learn from!
  14. Not a big drinker at all but Samuel Adams Porch Rocker, Cold Snap and White Christmas. I don't drink other than that and I do not drink liquor either. Coffee....well let's just say coffee is my EDC.
  15. Cool stuff Regopit. Is this a job or your home?
  16. That sucks @Turner85 ! Last night I splurged and ordered the Fastcap Best Fence system for my Kapex. Absolutely phenomenal saw, if you ever get a chance to try it, it really is amazing. Just picked up an 80t fine blade for it too. Good luck though! I'm sure whatever you get is going to serve you well. I got to mess around with a Makita 10" slider just before I got my Kapex and it was a really nice machine.
  17. Wow Andrull, from 0 to 100 in a quick shot! Looks like a nice selection of tools you've got there. What are you going to be doing with them?
  18. Ha Comp. on.y thing missing is the hole in the middle of the seat and a roller on the side My Toyota has no such feature....of course it goes and goes and goes and.....
  19. And Comp is dead on about price too. My friend Kevin uses Ryobi 18v tools for his carpentry business. Actually so does my Dad. Until I get him his first Festool pretty soon (CXS). But he doesn't go out and buy Festools and Milwaukees to get his job done. Money is money.
  20. The Milwaukee M12 Fuel line is perfect for tradies. Compact size, really powerful and the M12 line is huge answering different tradies needs. Electricians, plumbers etc. It's like your a gun nut. Sure they make big guns but do you need to carry around a 12mm Magnum rifle for personal protection or do you carry a small compact pistol? They are purpose built with different applications, just like guns. My brother is a pro plumber and his M12 Expander is his favorite tool but he uses that along with a M18 Fuel hammer. My shop is chock full of differ et sized tools from different manufacturers and each has an application.
  21. For personal not work issued stuff a Leatherman MUT or SOG Assist at work and my iPhone 6 plus. Leatherman Wave or my Swiss / Festool knife and my iPhone 6 plus when at home. Love my Leathermans! Awesome tools to have in a pinch.
  22. Yup. I turn 45 next month. The way I look at it, I'm the new 25. Problem is my back disagrees.
