  1. I'd like to,respond again as I just offered up my opinion so I'll just cut and paste it here....truthfully I'm just too lazy to post it again My quote from the other post Choosing the Right Power Tool / Tool Brand: "What about Makita? I've got all of the main brands now with the exception of Ridgid. I would argue for Ridgid' warranty. It's the best one out there with a lifetime service agreement.....IF YOU REGISTER THE TOOLS! I would in the same sentence agree that the Ridgid line is great but extremely limited. I have the following CORDLESS tools by brand.... Bosch - IDH182 Brushless Impact Driver / Wrench and the MXH180BL Brushless multi tool as well as the FL12 LED Lamp and Vacuum in 12v. and the PB360 Power Box. Dewalt - DCD985 20v Hammer Drill, DCN692 Brushless Framing Nailer, DCS391 Circular Saw. Makita - DJV181 Brushless Jig Saw, XCU02 18v X2 Chainsaw. Milwaukee - M12 Fuel 2453 Impact Driver, M12 Fuel 2520 Hackzall and M12 2460 Rotary Tool. Ryobi - ZRP854 Brad Nailer. Black and Decker (Gasp! Eeeeegad Man!) 20v AutoSense Drill Festool - CXS Compact Drill Driver Set, T18 Drill Driver Set. I'm pretty sure I might be missing some stuff but those are my CORDLESS tools. Each one....including that B&D (absolutely awesome tool for driving pocket screws without over driving) has a useful spot in my shop and has MORE than proven itself. I would say though, in my opinion, as a woodworker and DIY type, Makita has the largest, most diverse line of cordless tools for a single brand. I'm not saying the best, just the most rounded offering. As you can see by my eclectic family, each one brings a strength to the table. "

  3. That's pretty slick Ricky. My charging board has my Dewalt zip tied to it right now.
  4. Welcome to the forum, have fun poking around and getting involved!
  5. Samuel, funny crap that dude! Werner is pure Sh!t!!!!! Hahahahahahaha
  6. That's funny.....one of the top three pieces of advice I got when I was a young cop..... "Chris......you know, a hot call comes in and you just want to get there yesterday....remember this.....ONLY DRIVE AS FAST AS YOUR WILLING TO HIT SOMETHING!"
  7. Dude....my Wife IS the problem! Chris....you need that Festool.....Chris you NEED that ATV!!!!
  8. If I ever got the gonads to ride a bike I'd go with one of those BMW's! They look awesome and being able to trail ride would beretta cool too.Of course I counter this by saying that I am the ONLY person I have ever heard of that hit a deer while mountain biking so....
  9. Wear a helmet John! I like having two tons of metal around me, not on me!!!!!! Good luck too, I've always wanted to do it but ATV ing is it for me. Something about four wheels makes me feel better.
  10. THANK YOU Eric!!!!! Been my biggest complaint and why my lineup is so small. I think it's great that they are dominating specific trades but for Pete Sake there are these guys called woodworkers out there. I've moved to several platforms to get what I need. Makita has some great woodworking tools out there. I'd love to see team red start doing the same.
  11. Wow Dwain! That's going to be a costly move! I won't sway you either way, I've got my Milwaukee M12 Fuels, a couple of Makitas, a couple of Bosch' and some Dewalt. I love me all!
  12. Yeah, that was a great deal at $179. I wish I got the extra $20 off! Plus it's a 4.0 battery.
  13. Whoa whoa whoa Mike! Keep posting away dude! No need to apologize here, Every once in a while they spin my head but lately it's just like you had pointed out with the HD Pro site......what the heck?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!!
  14. I'm just zayin' Mike.....first comes the forum, then a couple of Craigslist buys. Then your hiding cash for your weekly fix next thing you know.....BAM,! Your strung out on Milwaukee, Malita and Dewalt with a Festool sitting on your lap, covered in spittle and your pants are wet with a spilled Sam Adams.....what happened you ask yourself??? Well well well.....You wanna know What happened young man??? You wanna know what happened?? Well I'll tell you sir........ TOOLS IN ACTION happened! We are a collective of sad men.....no money to spend on our next fix.....we need help for God sake! We need help!!!!!!
  15. Yeah.....I wouldn't do that Probably some No. Korean Boar porn site or something.
  16. You know Mike, I checked it out and said "meh...where are the big savings???" Sometimes CPO has awesome sales, sometimes they just post a sale with regularly priced stuff or lightly discounted and you still have to pay for shipping! Kind of like our HD Pro club....what a joke!
  17. Welcome to the forum Jon. By the way check out www.professional power tool marital recovery forum.com it's free to join but the cost of membership is a real bitch.
  18. Wow. That's really cool. Now I can get some more USA made power tools from somebody other than Dewalt!
  19. Yeah John, I'm new to this but I'm getting quite the list of stuff that's permissible in NH. They passed a law in the Northwoods that opens all public roads unless otherwise posted as open to ATV's! We're going up to Gorham with a couple of friends and hopefully my brother and his fiancé in a couple of weeks and I guess we are going to get an intro to the northern ATV trails. Really cool stuff here! I proved out the plow kit I'm getting later this summer too!
  20. Hey john! So far so good. Having a ball in n this twin v beast. I'm heading up to the northern trail network the weekend after the fourth for a full day out there. Might try camping up that way this summer!
  21. Thanks Fletcher! I might go for a pair of bolt cutters myself
  22. Wow, awesome deal Mike. I just watched the video on the Dewalt though! A buddy of mine has the Mac version and is in love with it. I'm wondering if this is essentially the same thing as they run the exact same affirm for batteries. As a matter of fact he's using Dewalt 5's in his Mac. Regardless, the Fuel looks to be a. Awesome machine and that's an awesome deal!
