    XCU02Z X2 Chainsaw.

Hey guys! Here is my unboxing video! Not a review and I tried to hold it in pano mode like BK said to do but as always, I'm no videographer!
  3. I've got two. The Syscoolers. Sad ain't it? Also I just bought the sys storage box yesterday. Pretty slick tool box!
  4. Just to reiterate Jason....Thank God you and your family are alright! And thanks for that awesome tidbit of info. I bought a sawzall from Regopit and have it and several blades stored in my only Dewalt Tough System box. I feel even better about that now on account I throw it in the truck bed occasionally. I'm really and truly glad you and your family are well Fletch. I hope your in your repaired home with a healthy happy family as soon as possible!
  5. Hey guys! Sorry, been out doing stuff downstairs and in the yard. I am going to get this nailer @torontotoolman and by the way.... WELCOME to the forum!!! I've got the Ryobi Airtrike Brad nailer and was using it a lot last night. I don't have any other Ryobi tools but the brad is one well designed machine and I've played around with the finish nailer. Ryobi really hit the nail on the head (pardon the pun) with the Brad so I think theys gonna sink steel hard core yo with this finish gun. I'd get it without any reservations. Money well spent if your looking for a cordless alternative. I base this on my experience with my Airstrike Brad which I imagine has only improved with the inception of the finish gun.
  6. Still waiting for mine, possibly on Thursday. Of course I drive to Florida on Saturday so won't get to play too much
  7. Ricky, I've got the Festool tracks, three of them all 55". One is an LR32 rail. I wish I had a longer 118" rail but right now I have to suffice with connecting rods to break down sheets goods. I guess what I'm saying is, you cut the track and want to do long stuff you might be sol. On he other hand 102" is and odd number when you consider on the Festool tracks you really need over hang of several inches on both sides to cut sheets.
  8. Ooooompf! I don't think the Skilsaw is new dude! There's rust all over the shoe and the blade guard attachment. If they were new I'd go with the Dewalt, it has more power and cutting speed. Skilsaw just came out with a pro grade magnesium saw which is supposedly one of the best saws out now but this looks like an older cheap saw so based on the pics and the fact that the Skilsaw clearly looks used too, I'd get the Deealt, change out the blade and brushes and make sure the shoe is square.
  9. I had these on my pre fuel M18 drill and impact. They worked decent, gives you the option for a larger and smaller but set. And Comp is right, always mysteriously empty!
  10. 9" high and and 1-1/2" diameter???? Lucky SOB

Will do Mikey! It's gonna end up coming Monday But I'll definitely shoot a video this is going to be great helping with a landscaping structure I'm going to build this early summer (pergola) for cutting lap joints (hopefully)
  13. I'm not so sure about that @Serf27 as far as getting those parts. I have a tool crib up the road and could bring the brushes over there to see if they have a comparable set. As far as the bearing set I am not sure. Have you called over to the company to see if they have a parts list available? Or find out what saw this one is based on?
  14. It's a reply nice multi tool too Andrew but my bitchin' Bosch MXH is the cats meow! I will say I've tried this one out and this is a great deal. The vibration control is incredible!
  15. TFC TFC TFC TFC TFC TFC.......oh......hi honey...... tfc tfc tfc tfc.......t......f........c.....

Thanks Mikey, planning on some pretty thick dense bush removal namely a flaming bush that does in my front yard. 8" diameter and pretty dense.

I've got mine coming tomorrow. I'll let you know what I think as I've got a job for it right off!
  18. Ohhhhh yeah don't do that dude! Bad mojo happens when you use those things with power tools! I think of Afros and and Michael Jacksons hair on fire! Or worse, your house!
  19. Welcome to the forum kulkoholic! Both lines are great. Dewalt actually is a good line too. Have you considered Bosch? Of the lines listed Makita has the greatest range of 18v tools. I own several lines of tools as every manufacturer has limitations on what is offered. I have Milwaukee M12 Fuel tools, a couple of Makita 18v tools (brushless barrel grip jigsaw - AWESOME). I've got the Bosch 18v brushless multi tool and wireless impact driver (thanks Eric and Dan!) and a Dewalt 20v USA made hammer drill and circular saw. As far as registering tools with Ridgid, those are ticked off customers that didn't register the tools properly. You need the UPC on the box and your HD receipt. Done. I've owned several Ridgid tools in the past and they were decent tools. Problem I've had is limited range of tools. Never NEVER had issues with warranty though. I've gotten new batteries through them before, no problem. If you want the ability to expand your tool line, Bosch, Makita, Dewalt and Milwaukee are all great, well made, super packed with options, durable lines of tools and Ryobi ain't so bad either of you want a large tool line of basic power tools without all of the bells and whistles. They have a very large 18v line for homeowners and tradesman. I've got one Ryobi, an 18v Brad nailer and it is an awesome tool for furniture projects.
  20. Oh and by the way, check your saws motor to see who actually made it. Tradesman is probably just a cover company for the OEM that makes the motor. You might have to look for that company on the part list.
  21. Just so long as it ain't through your thumb Jason!
  22. I'd try.... http://www.ereplacementparts.com/ By the way....DUDE! That SUCKS!!!!! That's why I try not to borrow too many tools! Oh and I never loan the. Out!
  23. I've got a cheap brad nailer, a Dewalt Finish 15g nailer, Ryobi 18v brad and a Dewalt 20v Framing nailer.
