  1. @serf27 first off, welcome to the forum! http://lumberjocks.com/topics/22234 I added a link to lumber jocks so you could see some varying opinions about your saw. I'm not familiar with Tradesman branded saws but know they are pretty inexpensive machines. I'm not sure I'd run right out and buy a new saw UNLESS you plan on cutting some more wood. But I would NOT use that saw any more till you fix it. It sounds like the drive may be shot whereas your hearing that clunking sound. That could be a pretty serious safety issue. If the fix is like you said, $15 maybe it's worth doing but if you think you're going to be using it for more projects, hit CL and find a decent contractor saw or bigger!
  2. Whaaaaaaaaaat???? Nope no new tools the last couple of weeks for "her"
  3. Not overkill dude. A lot of guys are doing the same with their L Boxxes and Ststainers. That's just plain smart.
  4. Just retro fitted a cabinet underneath and added a drawer with full extension of course the trough prevents the lid from opening completely but plenty of room to get the tool out of the l boxx.
  5. Thanks for the link Mike, I'm loving my DCD985 hammer and will not be getting rid of that guy.
  6. Who......? Meeeeeeeeeeeeee???
  7. Agreed all around but for $399 you get Dewa To premier brushed hammer and the impact made here in the U.S. PLUS.....a tough system box....PLUS....another tool or battery....win win here!
  8. http://www.mycarz.co/dodge-charger-white-2014/ Not the actual picture Nicholas, but it's just like this one with all wheel drive!
  9. So Samantha and I went out to buy a new car for her. I then got to work in the shop! So, added some stain to hide the upcoming paint and stain sure to accompany this table, added four 20mm dog holes and some Bessey auto toggle clamps. Also a small tool tray to the front of the beast!
  10. Well, a corded version will have more run time and consequently in some case more power (Milwaukee Fuel M18 from what I've heard just as much power) whereas getting a cordless could allow you to get into a power tool line.
  11. Nice! Bet that thing is a powerhouse too!
  12. I'll take some pics of the drawers. I'm not a mechanic so most of my stuff is woodworking related.
  13. Thanks so much for that link sir!
  14. @Pennywise dude. That sucks. I had no idea Festool has an insurance plan though. I wonder if it's UK only? Regardless that is an awesome feature for your mate. I hope those guys get caught though. That's taking from a guy's pocket when they do stuff like that.
  15. I've got the top. Heavy as heck and love it
  16. And that's why I never buy a car from a mechanic and like a dumb a$s I bought my house from a "CARPENTER". Nothing's straight and I've learned a lot because of it! For instance, the last thing...and I mean the LAST thing I want to do when I get home is take care of some kind of dispute with a neighbor or listen to somebody whine about some person or other and get barraged with what if questions!
  17. Comp....absolutely beautiful job on the stairs sir! Glad to hear from you too. Remodels are a blast when it's not a day job!
  18. Nice truck John.....for a CHEVY!!!!! Just kidding dude, nice ride! We can't have blacked out lights here or anything like that but the black on white is pretty sharp looking.
  19. I'm not interested in the track saw. I've got the TS55REQ and love it. I'd like to get a 75 too but cordless just doesn't fit my bill. I'm more interested in DC.
  20. Carroll, did you notice the different right angle attachment on the three drills? It looks like the CXS attachment. I'm hopeful my right angle will work, I don't see why it would not. I would consider the PDC but....
  21. Sorry Illini....I'm bad for junkies Tool junkies that is
