  1. I see some Mafells in that pile. Are those his stolen tools or his replacement tools? Also curious if he has any idea who the slime swelling suck hole is that stole them? Did he have his tools registered for insurance?
  2. What Conductor says! If possible, I always buy American. If I spend a couple of more bucks that's okay with me. I know there is Q&C with American / Canadian / European producers. And certainly China is getting better in the production arena. Milwaukee produces many power tools in China with "strict guidelines" but if be happier knowing they were made here. No poisonous paints or plastics Laborers that are paid properly etc. Those are important to me. I, like ALL Americans, have Chinese made things in my home. I'm blasting away right now on my iPhone 6+ which was made in China. Sometimes it doesn't matter what you want, you just have to settle with the fact that you can't buy it all here like you could many years ago. But...I just spent a bone and a half on an American made plane and probably could've gotten a Chinese made plane for a tenth of the price. I am happy to know that tool will last me my whole life and a dude in Maine, using American materials, made it!
  3. Dwain, being a Festool guy And everything being in metric I kind of use both. I still struggle with metric though as it is not taught in school as a standard.
  4. That's my point with the cordless model especially. Really cool if you don't want DC but the point of my TS55REQ besides unparalleled precision is dust control. Maybe a framer could use this but I've got my cordless 20v saw plus the new Skilsaw magnesium on the way and just can't see a need for this particular item for me. I'm sure a lot of people will get something out of it but....
  5. So they are Tough system boxes! Wow. That is pretty cool.
  6. Yeah....my chiropractor reminded me that I'm getting older. Jerk. But....with older comes wisdom
  7. Well I've been holding my breath for a quite a while now and am pretty happy with the storage options I have. I have to disagree about branding another companies boxes though. R&D will have been completed and they would need only make inserts for the boxes. This would allow a lot of cohesion for people like John, me and everybody else that has multiple box lines. Plus it would ensure that a box comes to fruition sooner than later and ensures no more going backwards and forwards with different boxes. I mean cmon. They have to know that there is an interest in tool storage for both the pro and the home wood shop like mine. Storage is a big deal when your working in a 20x20 area with little ceiling height. So....GET MOVING MILWAUKEE.
  8. I read on the FOG (actually missed the original post as it was removed) that Festool was adding some more tools to our market here on 06-01-15 so I'm curious to see if this guy will be introduced here. I've checked out Timberwolf tools site (Maine) they are the only authorized Mafell dealer in the U.S. As far as I know and their version is $$$$$$ makes my Festool collection look like a mid grade range.
  9. That's actually pretty cool. So it'll be a t stak box?
  10. Welcome to the forum venodanz33!
  11. Actually it's not too bad. My last Dodge got 22 highway. My new Tundra gets about 16 everywhere. I was at a light this past winter. I'm in my gorgeous 2014 Tundra. 5.7l. This brand new 14 Ram pulls up next to me....5.7. Vroooom vroooooooooooom vroooooooom! My wife starts laughing. I step on it, VAVAVAVAROOOOOOOOOOOM! Light flashes green, squeal of tires and the Ram is gone. Put put put I pull out onto Route 11 laughing my butt off. I tel my wife....."what a rookie...that putz just went from 18 to 2 mpg"
  12. Wow. I mean....wow. Chad....that's some serious commitment there sir

  19. Nice stuff John! Can't wait to hear and hopefully see your thought on this!
  20. Im not a 100% but I think that's the accessory sale. You pay for one tool off the list then get 20% off accessories that are listed. Not a bad deal but the accessory list is limited
  21. My favorite truck brand after my Tundra! And my work car is all hemi! Congratulations dude, nice truck!
  22. It almost looks as if that parts organizer is like the tough system from Dewalt. Thick walled, positive stops for the small boxes inside....we'll see.
  23. Nice mower dude! I too have a Honda American made mower. It's got power drive and mulches. Very happy with the guy!
