  1. I'm hard pressed right now. I've got the Airstrike brad. Love it. I've got the Dewalt framer. LOVE it. But I'd really like the finish gun and even the stapler. I might expand my Ryobi nailers if Dewalt doesn't come to life. I've really been looking hard at the Bosch finish gun too. But regardless....for this price, it's worth every penny.
  2. Well you've gotten some great insight from the guys FrosBros, now it's time to pull the trigger! I love my magnesium hypoid but Skill and Bosch are sounding pretty good too!
  3. That's awesome. April Fools Day!!! If only they would do it. Hey I'm a man.
  4. At least security wouldn't jump you when you walk out of the store with them! Of course that's assuming the associates are bright enough to know they don't sell red tools.
  5. I've got mine stacked with a bunch of hardwood and some PT wood for shop stuff. Great rack guys. Easy to put up too.
  6. That is an awesome deal for a really great brad nailer. I use mine all the time and I paid that price for mine reconditioned without nails or battery or charger last year. Worth it if you can get one!
  7. Nah no luck there dude. Nothing but a glorified burger flipper but I get to drive fast
  8. Whooooooo? Meeeeeeeee?
  9. BK, I ised to have the Bosch 12v line but switched to Milwaukee because the lineup was better. I had the compact hammer drill and an impact gun. Awesome tools. Super compact, plenty of power. No Bosch is stepping up the platform with saws and all sort of tools. They've added brushless too. I'd consider it if you want a compact tool line up. I have the Fuel impact and Hackzall and the multiple and love these guys for the power and run time but Bosch is picking themselves up and pushing forward with some really innovative tools.
  10. Yeah, I'll be staying a night! And your right, it really isn't too bad of a drive, I mean except the part that I have to drive through Mass! I'll wear a helmet and a rising sun neckerchief and speed up to a 100+ screaming......"BANZAIIIIIIIIIIIIIII"

    XCU02Z X2 Chainsaw.

Thanks John! I'm thinking that might actually be a spring purchase. I'm thinking about maybe trying the Makita brushless circular saw or the 7-1/4 first but that chain saw would be a much needed tool in my little postage stamp part of the world.
  12. Next year darn it. Next year. And I'll probably drive. That's gonna be a long drive! I figure I could do it in a day. I was talking to my wife about it a half hour ago while walking my buddy and she said she wants to start an account for saving for it. And I imagine Leigh Nielsen too John!
  13. Wow. I went to Ikea last year. It's almost true.
  14. The FESTOOLS were in full swing for that remodel. Mostly my RO90 and ES125 sanders and two Midis blasting away for the rough work. I also used a track for the flooring but used my Dewalt 20v for the actually rough cutting of fractured floor boards. Trust me, the Festools performed quite admirably! I'll post some pictures of the finished room tomorrow? I used my TS55REQ to trim all of the doors for their final install after the carpeting. Samantha and I spent all yesterday and part of today moving into the new room. Gotta get a fire stick for my small HD flatscreen up there!
  15. That's a really nice set up overanalyze! Crazy how much room are in those boxes. I finally put my single Tstak drawer unit to use. It's my electrical box. Keep some basic tools, wire nuts, zip ties, tape etc. but my Tough System small box has been issued to anything yet. Having all of that stuff in that box must make life a lot easier
  16. John, how are you liking that Makita 7-1/4 x2 saw?
  17. Let us know what happens Madman. I'm thinking I'll icks nay on the purchase a in the future if this is a common issue. Depending on the saving it might not be worth it.
  18. @Scoszko thanks for posting that video. When you think about it having the ability to buy one power unit and one attachment and then buy another attachment for the next season isn't a bad idea. I haven't had luck with Troy bilt motors in that a few years ago I purchased a trot bilt Honda mower. Ends up the mower motor was a Chinese piece of crap, two mowers later (brand new) I blew two valves (one in each) and my mechanic said the valve was too small causing the engine in both machines to seize. My only question is who makes the motor. I saw it says Troy bilt ohv but who makes it?
  19. That's a pretty slick little gun @overanalyze! I bet that thing would rock with a 4.0 to boot. Really great idea too.
  20. Geez Madman, sorry to hear about that. In my case, they kept trying to deliver during the early pm....you know....when EVERYONE is him instead of work. So I used the UPS program over analyze mentioned and had them ship it to an access point. When I talked to them she said "I don't know why you owe UPS, let me call them" she called me back fifteen minutes later and said that I didn't owe anything. She was as confused as I was.
  21. Nice stuff Madman. Here's my latest haul guys....
  22. Hey alright Mike! I got the exact same order dude!
  23. As a matter of fact it was! BUT.......it comes in a micro Systainer!
  24. Thanks Andrew! That's a really nice set to boot.
  25. Welcome to the forum Ben! Good choice on your tool line too! I've actually seen Milwaukee tools on some of the big red trucks!
