  1. Thanks guys for the feedback. It's too bad you couldn't grab one Regopit. I'm sure you will at some point though. As fats as the blade KWC no doubt a good blade is important but zero deflection, no vibrations, smooth slide, finger controlled bevel dial, dust collection...
  2. And that is why people buy Festool! Great job John! No glasses no mask no worries! That separator set up is fantastic. Look at how much money your saving!
  3. Awesome Job NER! Friggin great work dude! Tool looks awesome too!
  4. So the other day, I was commenting on the topic http://professional-power-tool-guide.com/power-tool-forum/index.php?/topic/5663-milter-saw-dust-collection-test/ The question was brought up about why the Festool KAPEX was brought into the loop. Well it's part of a system and when in that system, in my opinion, there really is now comparison. I'm not a tradesman but I have used a variety of miter saws with and without extraction. I put together a quick video about my KAPEX and the use of two different hoses and no hose in conjunction with the Midi DC unit. First off, I'm new at videos, it shows. Hope you like it!
  5. Wow! Keep Conductor away from that guy BK!
  6. Wow Chad! Don't ever become a psychologist!!!!!! But...apparently I shouldn't be one too! You gotsta adds to dat Fuel Line Bo-yyyyyy! You already started down the treacherous windy road that is the M12 line!
  7. Wow. Had no idea KWC. And to think...my constant yearning to learn more about carpentry and building in general started when a little boy started playing with Legos. I never ever thought I'd say thin in a million years (Especially after watching Austin Powers Gold Member)..... THANK GOD FOR THE DANISH!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Great job Comp. It came out great. I tried one once with my little craftsman before but it didn't come out very good. What kind of wood did you use?
  9. D...A...N...!!!!!!!!!! Hahahahahahahahahaha
  10. No doubt Madman, I'm stoked dude. I'll figure out a direct vent, I left the dryer vent in the wall just for a DC so....

Yeah dude, I'm with you. My back aches, my nose has t stopped running, my chest keeps rattling. This has been a hard cold winter. Three days it was -16 in the last month. Today was coldest by far but it jumped to 20f. If you think about it,my hat is a 44f change in like five hours.

Dude my nips were hard enough to cut glass this morning! Friggin' cold!
  13. Also, according to Grizzly, I should have this Monday next week....ahem ahem....I think I have a cold coming on....
  14. Well I ended up buying two hoses Andrew. I bought the Festool anti static 50mm short hose and the Bosch 35mm hose. I was using the standard anti static 27mm hose which works awesome on every tool I own from Festool EXCEPT the KAPEX! I got the 35mm Bosch hose first and I was blown away at how much better the DC was. The 50mm is slightly noticeably better, plus the anti static does actually help. But to go out and buy one? If I remember, I'll through together a quick video this week with the different hoses on!
  15. Nice job to you and your class Samuel. That's a gorgeous looking cycle!
  16. Wow! Awesome! You've got one awesome wife there Madman!

  18. I think I could probably do that I'll post it when it comes in and do the research. Thanks Regopit I really appreciate it!
  19. Thanks Carroll! I hadn't thought of that, what about dryer coil or is that too small a diameter?
  20. Hey Jason, still liking the saw? Milwaukee CPO is having 20% off but I'm still wondering 6-1/2 or 7-1/4
