  1. Well normally I piss excellence but this time it's just yellow
  2. Javier, I am ChrisK on Toolguyd. The Chris on Toolguyd is the 07Sierra guy here. I have posted on Toolguyd but use the same id
  3. Well guys, I'd like to say "unbelievable" but there is no way to control the thoughts and opinions of any one person. Chris (NOT the COOL Chris...ME), clearly has an opinion. No way to change it, he is unfortunately entitled to it and he clearly wants to express it in the most child like manner he can summon. Too bad. I've read his articles here and participated too so I am surprised to hear of his unfortunate and clearly juvenile badgering of this site and it's members. Personally I LOVE my Milwaukee tools. I also have Craftsman, Porter Cable (thanks TiA!), Hitachi, Bosch, Dewalt, Ridgid and Ryobi and let us not forget Festool. Clearly Festool is the best...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I'm not a pro, I don't work in the trades. But I do know my way around my shop and have been self learning electrical and some plumbing (thanks little brother). My tools don't get used as much as 07Sierra's, I guess, but I think they get used by someone who knows them. So I think from my own perspective and the information I have gathered from TiA members post, non pro and pro alike, this site is not biased. I watch Eric and Dan's video reviews and they are clearly not biased. So maybe 07Sierra (Chris) should calm his jets and look around. Who knows maybe he's upset he didn't win this year. Maybe he stubbed his toe before typing. Maybe he should keep his judgements to himself.
  4. Whoa whoa whoa whoa.....Red, I think I'm having am incident. Can I borrow that thing?
  5. Oh yeah Nicholas. It's that much and a good price too. That set new, which I imagine it pretty much is will be something in the area of 1300 bucks! They don't give anything away that has that name.m I will not end up buying one, il get a saw stop table saw at some point (ie when I have my garage) so my Ridgid 10" does fine now, but that saw, the Kapex, is a phenomenal machine.
  6. Whoa whoa whoa Red. It's a bottle opener dude! Don't be dissing on Milwaukee for developing the BEST bottle opener on the planet!
  7. Well I am a renassance cop so I like Latte's and bagels.
  8. Sweet Lord Above!!!! Id give my kidney and my left nut for that saw! Actually I am a south paw...so my right nut.
  9. Kidney??? Seriously????Id give my left nut for the tool!
  10. I've had the same Irwin's for years. They're pretty dull now and have been thinking about picking up some Bosch's. They make great quality blades so...

Oh...not my Impactor. Must've fell off a contractors truck but no one came looking for it. I ended up giving it to a friend I have worked with for the last 16 years.

Same here Regopit. My M18 set and I have worked out in below freezing temps too. The tools and batteries performed flawlessly. I will also say, my neighbors daughter, Hope, found and 18v Porter Cable Lihium Impactor on the road near my house. She though it was mine and left it on my back steps. I was in Bar Harbor for a long weekend with Samantha and when I got home, I see the 18v Impactor on my steps. It was soaked. It poured out for two days in Rochester. The temps got down in the low 30's. I picked it up, shook it and water poured out. I pressed the trigger and BAM! It ran. Drove some screws. Unbelievable. PC makes a pretty decent impact driver guys.

Good for you Regopit. Your doing something good. The one thing I love about my job more than anything else is taking the time to educate somebody new on the job...the right way on how to do things and how to enjoy what is seemingly a non enjoyable job. After being in my career for as long as I have been it helps me to see the good out there in the eyes of someone new to it.
  14. Holy crap dude!!! Are you kidding me?!! Sell blood, sell you car...do whatever you have to! Get that saw! Hahahahahahaha
  15. Me too DR me too. Big honk in' pole barn and some land.of course now that I'm dreaming I would have several acres, some horses. In the barn a whole section just for a lathe (which by the way I don't know how to use yet) and for making joinery. Man I have to take some classes. I'm self taught on everything thus far!
  16. And Chase, if you get the chance and have the cashola, it might be worth your while to get it. You won't be drear eased.
  17. I will say I have the Makita Magnesium Hypoid saw. It'll cut through houses. It is wickedly heavy but powerful.
  18. I'm with Javier on that Chase. My M18 Fuel impact is an unbelievably well made tool. The power is amazing, the three speed/torque settings are phenomenal and the grip is rubbery and solid and with the XC packs it's still pretty light. I am not a fan of the Hammer believe it or not! Great drill, no question there, but it is wicked heavy, kinda like Dewalt's three speed. I think the Milwaukee is a better tool, NO QUESTION ABOUT IT in the Hammer category as I've used both but...it is still a really heavy tool and tall. I guess I like compact drills. I will say, if I had to choose between the two I would take the Milwaukee Fuel hammer before the Dewalt. But as I have gotten off topic, if the tool is serving your purposes why spend the extra cash but you will LOVE the impact if you get it. Absolutely awesome machine.
