  1. Prayers for your Grandmother and family.
  2. I have no experience with Dewalt foot wear. DeWalt should stick with POWER TOOLS I second redwing shoes. I had a pair of these: http://www.redwingshoes.com/red-wing-shoe/4472-red-wing-shoes/4472-red-wing-mens-5-inch-hiker-boot-black I wore them for 8+ years. I wore them everywhere and out. I bought a pair of Wolverines that were of the "same" quality...I did not even keep them for 3 days...they just did not fit well. I went to the Redwing store and bought the same style of shoes that I previously had. (down to the color)...I will never buy any other brand of work boots.
  3. DEWALT DW2095 Magnetic Drive Guide Set great for driving long screws or trying to drive at an awkward angle http://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DW2095-Magnetic-Drive-Guide/dp/B00004RH24/ref=pd_sim_hi_1
  4. Thanks for the information. I have just 1 slot left in the main breaker and none in the sub-panel. The panel uses Square D breakers. Total AMP to the house is 200 ( I am guessing this because the main breaker in the box says 200 on it.)....So this will be a later project. I will probably GO BIG when I do it. if I need to upgrade the service, that wont be $100's that will be $1000's...On well...I got time.
  5. Hello all I play Software Engineer for Big Oil by day, and DIY / Hobbyist when not working and raising 2 girls (or being "raised" by 3 if you include my wife.) My love for tools started with my Dad. He was a pipe-fitter, turned diesel automotive mechanic by trade. Thus i was always around big tools growing up...we almost never hired anyone. My dad's motto was "we can do it ourselves"...well until the jobs got really big. Now, times have changed. I do the "easy" stuff and hire out the rest.
  6. I missed out on a chance to pick up a 2 nice 1.5 acre neighboring lots 2 years ago ($102K)....I was worried we were getting ready for another correction....today those lots are $370K...oh Well I hope you enjoy the new place...Like I told my wife when we built this house, "You can never have enough garages"... I shot for a 5 car option....but got beat down to a 4 car option (2+2)...
  7. Crazyandy, How difficult is it to put a 220 line into a existing home. I have 1 main panel and a sub panel...unfortunately when we expanded the kitchen last year, the electrician used up about 5 single breaker slots on the sub panel for the extension, and I only have 1 slot free. I was looking at getting 1 (really would like to add 2) 220 lines to be able to get a big compressor and power for a 220v welder and be able to swap it out with a 220 plasma cutter....cost wise are we talking $100's or $1000's....(my friends BMW needed a repair...the service tech told him "Yes that is 3 ZEROS right of the decimal point" )
  8. I need to go check mine (5616-24) tomorrow to see where it is made. My wife bought it for me last week as a early birthday present...Well I told her this is what I want for my birthday, "Can I order it.?"
  9. great I just got the previous model back in May. Oh well. I can say I love the this tool. Bought it to put in some anchors into a concrete patio for a future outdoor kitchen. Not too many changes. I was busting some leftover pavers to see how this compared to my BD hammer drill....I will never use a hammer drill again for concrete or stone
  10. that is a great price. I paid ~$219 for the set back when it was released at lowes. ( they had priced it at the same price as HD and then I used a $25 off coupon from Lowes. and the $10 Amex credit) I love the impact driver. I have hardly used the drill, but it felt really good. The feel of the impact is awesome.
