  1. My Lowes has the blades. Home Depot doesn't carry any blades that fit. The Porter Cable blades will fit. I'm using the Imperial blades I bought online and they seem like good quality blades.
  2. The adaptor comes with the tool. I already bought imperial blades that fit it. They call them quick change. They aren't available on all of their blades but they are available on the popular ones. I have been using it this morning. The only thing I am not crazy about is the trigger. Only locks on high. Would rather have had the thumb wheel.
  3. I just got mine from Acme today. I'm sure I will be using it tomorrow. Can't wait!
  4. Looks awesome. I like that they lowered the first and second gear rpm's from the dcd985 which were raised from the dcd970. The dcd985 was a bit of a let down for me because of this. 450 rpm first gear will be great for the biggest self feed bits and 1300 rpm second gear should be good for auger bits. I will definitely be getting this drill after I get the 20v max multi-tool!
  5. Any idea on the voltage for the cordless version. 18 or 20v max would be great. Mike
  6. DCD970KL vs DCD985L2. I have them both. After using them in the real world I have formed my own non-scientific opinion. I would like to see your results. Btw I am an electrician. Mike
