  1. The thing works awesome dude. 5ah batteries work a long time on the tool.
  2. I know that the Govt takes some regulation to the point of silly but, can you imagine the shit vehicles and products we would be using without their oversite?
  3. Tool Warranty: 5 years service and first hospital stay free, see our terms and conditions!
  4. Thanks guys, I figured I and Mom were okay, but what stirred my curiosity has been a rash of chimney fires in the county. I'm thinking to be safe, I'll have Mike Holmes come by and spray fire proof foam insulation on the outside of our chimneys! We all know how he likes his spray foam!
  5. I would be curious if this 40 volt line will add to/replace the 36 volt tool line. Thoughts?
  6. Guys, I have a gas forced air furnace and my Mom has an oil fired forced air furnace. Do I need to worry about having these chimneys cleaned? I should note both are routed to an actual chimney and not a power vent. Thanks! ETA: Both are sealed where the metal ducting enters the chimney with fireproof caulk material.
  7. Yes, yes... She is incredible on the set. Silly Israeli chicks!
  8. In all seriousness, I needed an MRI some time ago and was joking with the tech about swallowing a handful of bolts, and she said that's not funny! I asked why? "Well, I forgot to take a wheelchair out of the room one time and it sucked fast to the unit"! Close to $100,000 to repair that mistake is what she told me.
  9. I wander if she's ever had a quality piledriver? You know, from the local equipment rental place...... ;-)
  10. Yeah, we really don't have pawn shops in my area but I did visit one in South Carolina a few years back and noticed that they wanted top dollar for worn out power tools. YMMV..
  11. I know it's been sometime since I updated the thread but, I fully intend on setting this up and changing the blade tomorrow. I'll have to take my time since my back is shot but I look forward to using this on some small projects.
  12. Lol! "No shit, it even comes with a battery charger!!" Haha!
  13. Thanks! I did take it out of the box today, didn't monkey with it since I had family obligations. Maybe tomorrow.... I will probably just end up bolting it to the hood of my truck for convenience!

    5 AH batteries in USA

At least they're not like Makita's battery tech, made from Unobtanium!
  15. Anyone have/had this unit? I picked one up on black friday cheap and have not set it up yet. Thoughts? ETA: I read that the supplied blade is shitty, so I picked up some good DeWALT ones to replace it with.
  16. I enjoy his shows. I really like how if he sees a nail out of place, he will demo the whole room! Lol. And him and that spray foam...
  17. I eat Snickers, sometimes if I'm in a rush to eat Snickers, I wear some Snickers..

    My toolbox

How much heat'n and beat'n did it take you to bend those wrenches like that?
  19. I had to respond.... kohlerphotography Too bad that Makita doesn't make a revolver that you can use on yourself!Reply ·
  20. Not an electronics expert but, I would suspect the battery. If both tools act abnormal using the same battery, there is where I would look first.
  21. Yeppers, last year for Christmas. The wife bought me one and it's a very nice radio. I know the lack of charger and all but, it is a very convenient size to lug around and play some tunes.
  22. Lost wife and dog, reward for dog!
  23. You must not have a wife that nags until the work is done! Get me another battery and one while I'm waiting!
  24. Just take a steel drum, fill with used motor oil and light it. Cheapest source of heat around.
