  10. Way to go Nick! I'm very interested in the Makita and how it preforms against the other contenders. Looking forward to seeing what type of head to head test you come up with lol. John, Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk[emoji848]

  12. Got this one in a Wila terminator kit from KC_tools. The bit holder #71496 magnetic with locking ring. Don't know if this the one you spoke of. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[emoji41]

  14. Hay Hugh, same exact same spot for me too. Was driving 3" screws into knotty pine with an air drill at high speed, and as luck would have it, hit a knot. Screw stopped dead! and the drill slipped and right through my thumb and stuck in the pine lol. Yeah, so no big deal, pulled it out screamed a few expletives and went to the emergency room. X-rays showed no break in the bone but many small metal fragments in the wound. The cleaned me up as much as possible and sent me on my way. Yes the nail does not grow right on that side of my thumb either. Switched to cordless impacts lol and keep my hand out of the way. Lol. John, Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk[emoji848]
  15. Aw good thing it wasn't face to face I'd be sitting in a Canadian gulag right now. Thanks Comp. for the tip. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[emoji41]
  16. How I can't say "grow a pair" to someone in Canada with out them being offended and threatening the law after me! I beg my pard for that outburst. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[emoji41]
  17. Yes Ridgid would be another excellent choice, not sure if their chargers are fast charging. Not that would be on your radar. But you can find deals on their batteries at Home Depot, they have frequent sales. John, Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk[emoji848]
  18. First, Welcome to the forum! I have recently purchased the Milwaukee fan for the same reason and since it's also comes with an AC adapter for the shop! I've been testing it the last few days and I can tell you that it's a good fan, and Milwaukee's stats are right on. 17+ hours on low with a 5.0 ah fully charged battery. After that, time drops quick. 7+ hours on medium and 4+ hours on high. Having this battery line and a multi quick charger for me batteries are not an issue. If power is out! Then it's an issue on charging. I am tempted to see if I can push the fan to failure, to just see it's endurance. Ryobi would be a good choice for someone to get that has no existing battery line. They are the least expensive to get into. And are made by the same master company as Milwaukee TTI. Good luck in your search. John, Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk[emoji848]
  19. Yes I would like to see it. I have the Makita and love it and curious what you have to say. After watching the @ourbuild review I made my choice. And on a recommendation I bought the barreled Makita jigsaw. Another great tool. I think I paid $199 for the Makita blower a few months ago. Thanks bee-man. 20. I have ordered quite a few things from ihl and no duty fees. But the shipping cost on some items has become outrageous in some cases costing more then the item. Only have seen this with ihl. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[emoji41]
