The best way I have found so far to battle the frozen puck locks on my service van was to by a small butane torch that I keep in my center council in the winter. I tried a bunch of different dry and wet lubes including the aerosol graphite. I didn't have any luck with any of them.

I have one of their titanium hammers and a cats paw. They are quality tools. I feel for me I got what I paid for. But as Regopit said it's how you look at it.......

I have been using a Veto Pro TP4 as a troubleshooting bag for awhile and it worked great. The only problem was that it was an open style bag and sometimes a tool would fall out. Sometimes in the back of the truck and sometimes out at a job site. A few of those times the tool never showed back up. Luckily it was just small stuff like small screw driver or two, tape measur and I lost a brass punch. A few weeks ago Veto sent me a email talking about there new MC bag and looking at it I was sold. Myself and one of my guys put an order in with Veto the next day. $99 a bag seems a little pricey but I have bought a lot of there products and they are very well built. We have been using them for a week now and they are awesome.nit measures 12.5" high, 10" wide and 8" deep. There's 20 ish pouches inside and out. One side has more pockets for your hand tools and the other side has larger pockets for meters and such. I took a picture of it next to my Tech PAC for a bit of size comparison.

I agree with you DR. People who would hurt children or animals are the worst of the worst and deserve the worst they can get. I recently was given some box seat tickets for a Chicago White Sox game. This was my 4 year old daughters first pro game. We got to our seats and at first every thing was great and then it began. The large group behind us started loudly dropping the F bomb. I let it go and then when it continued I couldn't take it anymore. I turned around and asked if they had something wrong with them and they had better stop. A few innings go by and the piece of garbage that sat directly behind me (a women in her mid thirties) spills her beer on me. This is the same person who was cursing the most. I stood up turned around snatched the rest of the beer and through it on the ground. One male counter part started to open his pie hole. Right before I was going to grab him by the throat I realized if I was going to get physical with him in front of my daughter I was no better than the rest of them. We grabbed our stuff left and watched the rest of the game inside. When did sporting events cease being family friendly? Why is it that people think the only way they can enjoy a sporting event is getting shit faced? It's a shame that because of this I will probably never take my daughter to a game again. I see it everywhere people have no respect anymore.

Regopits centerfold is very professional looking. I guess I have too many Milwaukee tool because I forgot my metal cutting circular saw in the garage and my fastback 2 knife that was sitting in my pocket where it always is........

I use TURBO CAD PRO. I find it very useful in making sure everybody knows what we are doing with a project. We do a lot of custom fab jobs and this way my guys know without a doubt dimensions and what goes where.... A sketchup review/tutorial would be great.

I couldn't agree more Dr. A lot of people still have the incorrect thought of "I'll shoot him outside and drag him back in" I've spent a large amount of money on training too ensure I have the right mentality for the responsibility of using a firearm as one of the tools to protect my families lives. In today's advanced world of forensics as I'm sure Chris k can attest too you need to know without a doubt what's legal and what's not. None of the many firearms I own have anything to do with hunting, I have no interest in that. I have no problem with hunting, just not my thing. One of the biggest mistakes a person can make is buy a firearm go to the range a few times a year and think your prepared to react to a life and death situation. Threat of deadly force without being able to follow through with it will probably result in your firearm being taken from you buy the bad guy and used against you or you loved ones. This is something I think lots of people do not think about. If you intend to protect your family with a firearm I recommend seeking out as much training as you can both actual tactical training and legality traing. Things like how properly take a corner(slicing the pie), avoiding the "fatal funnel", over penetration, weapons retention, tactical reloads are all things that you should be familiar with. A gun is literally just a tool, you are what's going to make the difference in surviving a life threatening situation.

I feel your pain DR. Our neighbors house got broken into on a Sunday early evening a few months back. Funny part was I was up on the roof cleaning gutters for most of the afternoon and came in just before it must of happened. Even though we think they were singled out (inside job) because of the day and time we went ahead had ADT come in and install an alarm. Two weekends ago somebody came through on a Friday night and knocked down mail boxes (ours being one of them) and stole some bikes. There is a house being built directly across the street from me it's almost done. Last night about 11:30 I was loading something into my wifes car and she quietly says don't turn around but somebody is by the garage across the street watching you. i said thats it and went inside got my Surefire ED2 Defender and head over to investigate. Sure enough I'm slicing the pie coming around the back of the house and I light up some fool hiding by the bushes. he takes off running like a bat out of hell obviously up to no good and didn't belong there. I think when it's perseved that a neighborhood is on guard for this stuff it becomes harder for it to happen. I agree with everything said above lighting is not a ill willed persons friend. As far as lock sets the neighbor that got broken into had a cheap one and all they did was wedge a prying tool of some sort into the gap between the door and frame and lean on it to gain access. We didn't hear a thing and we were home all day..........

Holy crap Chris. Good thing it was in a case........ This past weekend my wife and I were doing a bunch of work in the back yard for our daughter 4th b-day party this weekend. Our second level of our house extends over the first (raised ranch) at any rate the hose bib is in a place where you could hit your head. I must of told my wife a dozen times watch your head. I get done spreading 80 bags of mulch and wanted to wash of my arms. I bend down turn turn the water on and proceed to stand straight up. BAM! I damn near knocked myself out...... And yes my wife did laugh at first.

Awesome job Conductor!! I'm getting ready to tackle a very similar job. My daughters 4th birthday party is on the 7th and after that it's all speed ahead on her swing set.

I had to refurbish our picnic bench last year (flaking paint etc.) and ended up buying Harbor freights version of the paint eater and it worked great. Maybe an option for you if you wanted to save some money. I've used quite a few times since then and it still works just fine....

i really like Wera products. I feel like you have a better grip with their handles. Plus they have a "grit" added to the tips that seems to help with camout. The material on the shaft preventing you from grounding out the blades is pretty stout. I think if you bought some Chris you would be happy with your purchase......

As conductor said you can't go wrong with the Knipex. That being said i really like the Milwaukees alot too. I'm not as impressed with the Kleains as I am with the rest of the Klein hand tools. They are made well and fell good in your hand but I find myself using the other two more for the most part.
