    New tools.

I started a comparison on Sears.com of the screwdrivers I was interested in. Instead of getting starry-eyed at the amount I could get for the price with the Evolv, I ended up choosing and 8 driver set of Cman, the 5 precision screwdrivers, and then picked the two mini set. I did go ahead and get the mini-plier set of Evolv. (I'm planning on only using them on plastic sprues and the occasional soft metal.) I originally had my eye on this 40 screwdriver set of Evolv, but remembered, I'm not a mechanic or handy-man. Typically I need one or two sizes of slotted and phillips head screwdriver, that equals four and I'm getting 8 in the Cman set.

    New tools.

Ok, I'm not an every day user of tools, but I've hinted to my parents that I need a "real" toolbox for my birthday. Knowing that they'll hook me up with a gift card that will have some extra for some new tools, here's my question. I have some old Stanley pliers and screwdrivers, no problem with them whatsoever. I've loaned a few of each out in the past few years and haven't kept track. Now, dad bought me a new plier set, Kobalt. I like these better than the Stanley ones, can't put me finger on it, I just do. What I'm looking at is picking up some precision screwdrivers and regular screwdrivers. I've found the tool box I want from Sears, and I'm seeing Craftsman and a evolv brand. I've done some searching and can't seem to find any good solid information on a comparison between evolv, kobalt, stanley, and craftsman. Do I get the evolv, are they on par with Kobalt? Or do I not get as much as I think I need and pick up some piecemeal craftsman tools? I'm already aware of the ease of switching craftsman out at sears, and the difference in the warranties between Cman and Evolv. Thanks.
