  1. Did this site just got back up? I remember reason why i stoped being active was because this forum was like down!
  2. Woh have you seen the sales they have on their mastercraft ratchet sets? Their 133piece ratchet set is like 40% off the regular price and is now set to $67.99!!! They are also having sales on much more mastercraft tools to. I was kind of piss because i bought a brand new mastercraft wrench and measurment tape for regular price and the next day they have a sale on the exact same wrench and measurment tape i bought for 40% off!!!
  3. Try sending it back to the company to see if they can fix it or replace it or buy a new one. Seems kind of strange that it is still not functioning good after replacing it with a new arm.
  4. If there is any kind of spam post such as Tramdol piles and any kind of adult linked website i advise you not to view into them and do not visit their website that they give you. ONCE AGAIN I ADVISE ALL USERS DO NOT VIEW OR VISIT THESE WEBSITE AS THEY CAN GIVE YOU VIRUS, TROJANS, MALWARE, AND EVEN STEAL YOUR IDENTITY" If you do not listen to me then you will be at your own risk
  5. Take some pictures to! Nope I am in the same province as you (Ontario). I guess maybe its only my Canadian Tire Store?
  6. Great to see another Canadian! Hmmm.. I went to my local Canadian Tire store yesterday I couldn't seem to find that great of a deal. The only good deal I seen a DeWalt 18Vt for $209.00 (Canadian Dollars) and the Mastercrafts 30piece set for like $30-$50 (forogt the exact price). Witch town or city do you live in?
  7. The chair I did used to be my computer chair but now it is my dog's chair. Before http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa12 ... 010376.jpg It was so ugly I had to put a towel over it to save you from becoming blind... The old materials was all over the place the cushsioning for it was all over the place sticking out my dog was bitting on it. It was missing two screws for the chair so i had to go to Canadian Tire to buy 2 replacement screws.. After http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa12 ... 020134.jpg I took out everything that use to be there redid the whole top with a used bench cushsioning. It now actualy has 4 screws instead of 2... Also when you sit down you cant feel that screws sticking out at you.. Materials Used desktop seat. Used cushsioning. 4 Screws... A large screw driver and a philip screw driver (I just used my Leatherman Wave). Some tack.
  8. I would like to say I bought a Leatherman Wave!! I was wondering does Multi-Tools counts as a hand tool (The Leatherman Wave can have bits put into it. It's only like $20 for a 20 piece set of bits!)?
  9. Before any purchases you have already bought safety glasses right? Make sure you purchase ANSI Z87 (If i remember i think that ANSI Z87 was the standard safety certify) certify! Replacing a wood is a lot easier then replacing a eye!
  10. You should definitely wait and save a few more bucks for a sander. You can buy a a sander for pretty cheap ($15-$30 Jobmate) and it will do the job for building book shelfs. I know that because i build a wall shelf at school and i used a cheap one and it worked perfectly (its all about the course of the sand paper!)! But if you want quality that will last go with something that is like Porter Cable, DeWalt or something similiar. http://www.canadiantire.ca/search/searc ... c499f33fba This was the sander i used to build my wall shelf with. http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/produ ... earch=true
  11. Yea sorry forgot to tell you that the link i sented you are Canadians. Since you live in U.S.A. the price is very difference by a couple of hundreds dollars.
  12. Looks good to me. Only thing is that when you buy from EBay it is very hard to return it back for warrenty. It is also harder to get a problem fixed when buying online then buying from a store. Also have you checked this company back ground out yet?
  13. Well it depends on how much you are going to use your power tools and how hard are you going to push its limits? If you are a simplely just using your power tools just for that occasion and you will not be pushing the power tool to its limit in the future then you can always go with Rigid sets they are very good beginners sets if you will not be pushings the machine to its limits. Also DeWalt is a very good brand pretty reliable and they will last a long time if you take care of them very good. You also can push a DeWalt to its limits and it wont break on you as easily as a Rigid can. You said that you heard some flaws to the DeWalt hammer drill? I think DeWalt has a 3YR LIMITED WARRENTY, 1YR SERVICE FREE CONTRACT and if you are really that worried about that hammer drill there is a 90 DAYS MONEY BACK RETURN WARRENTY. So i think you can give DeWalt a shot and if you dont like it you can always return it (or you can donate it to me!) to Home Depot or wherever you buy your tools from. Or you can always pick up a Milwaukee 18V kit that is very reliable and one of the industries best tools maker. "Rigid 18.0V Hammer Drill, Circ Saw, Lite" http://www.homedepot.ca/webapp/wcs/stor ... PartNumber "DW New XRP 4-Kit" http://www.homedepot.ca/webapp/wcs/stor ... PartNumber "Milwaukee 4Pc Combo Kit" http://www.homedepot.ca/webapp/wcs/stor ... PartNumber Some combinations kits that you might want to look into. http://www.homedepot.ca/webapp/wcs/stor ... 3339&Nty=1 ***REMEMBER IF YOU LIVE IN THE U.S.A. THE PRICES ON THESE TOOLS I SHOWED YOU WILL BE CHEAPER BY A COUPLE OF HUNDREDS DOLLARS*
  14. I think Milwaukee is still made in USA. After Techtronic Industries Co bought Milwaukee they said they were going to keep the lines serperate. If you got to this link http://www.homedepot.ca/webapp/wcs/stor ... PartNumber Go and press the "Specifications" tab and go down and look for "Country Of Origin" it says "United States" therefore its made in the United States. Other then that, thats the only power tool company that i can think of so far that makes their power tools in USA. You should also look into Japan made power tools company like Makita if your afraid of made in China power tools.
  15. You do know that you can enter your password and IE will ask you if you want IE to "Remember the password for the website" so next time you log in you dont have to remember your password becuase it is already typed in when you type your username.
  16. Hey and welcome to this forum!
  17. Hey usa did you visit your HD this last few days? If so did you see the price of your MIlwaukee price went sky high? My HD was selling them for just under $700 not they are selling them for $849.00! Wow that is amazing. I wounder why the price is so high. I will have to swing by my local HD and see what price they are selling them for. The worst part is now my local home depot store doesnt carry them anymore because they said that it was only for a "Promotion for Milwaukee".
  18. No problem. It is my pleasure to help.

    How-To's

I figure i would post to help out new comers or novice at computers. 1-How to upload photo's on the "Show Off" post. 1-Make a account (to register click "join" on top of the right corner of "log in" on or click on the big red button that says "join") 2-Make a "new sub album title" for what ever the photo are (it is beneath the upload photo) 3-Upload the photos that you saved on your computer (make sure that the tab is on "Images From My PC" and click on browse (it is on the right side of the empty space bars) and look for the photos that you want to upload.) 4-Copy the IMG code and post it in your topic! (only once your done step 1-3 and finish uploading a picture you scroll down the page and you will see your photo in a smaller version and you will see that there is multiple choices of style to place your photo ethier by "Share URL, URL LINK, HTML TAG AND IMG CODE". I recommend you to choose the "IMG CODE". After you clicked on the IMG CODE it will have a small letter that wil pop up in the space bar next to it saying "Copied". Once you see this letter you right click your mouse and click paste onto your post and you will then have a photo in your post.) 5-Congradulations you have uploaded pictures! 6-Or you can simply let the Admin upload the photos for you. 7- Or you can contact me from a hotmail account and ask for more help on how to upload photo's. If you need my hotmail account please just pm me. Also is there other topics of How-To's that i forgot please post here so i can add a How-To's on it! Yours truely James!
  20. Why don't we set up a "Sticky" at the "Show Off" section where people can post pictures of what they made or created. Or show off how cool their workshop is. Also how is that "Product Testing" idea going?
