The easy thing to do is send in to Milwaukee for service. It should be a warranty issue.

Just like back in the days when you would call the IT department. They would always say Turn it off then turn it back on. That should fix it.

In bright sunlight you are going to have a hard time seeing any laser line. For outside work your are best to use a laser receiver.

Doing well. Thanks for asking

It's not here in the States yet. I don't think it's bluetooth so you still would have to switch on the Vacuum and kind of defeats the purpose of being cordless. The sander still would need a hose to hook to the vacuum so you might as well have a cord and a hose so when you turn on the sander the whole rig turns on. Without a vacuum you just blowing dust everywhere.

I picked this up a few weeks ago and have been using now to trim out and addition and for the most part I get a full day out of the battery. I replaced my Rolair JC-10 with the milwaukee.

It's good to see then getting into the laser field. I already have have the DeWalt Green 360° 3-Plane Laser that cost $500 when I bought it a few years ago. So I don't see myself dropping $600 on a new one. 90% of my tools are Milwaukee but you have to draw the line somewhere.

What dust extractor to go with? What is best? Hilti, Festool?
regopit replied to Fatandre's topic in Power Tools
You could look into Flex Vacuums. I have the festool and the Flex. The flex works just as well as the festool and it cost less then the festool -
Welcome to the forum. Take some time to look around and take in some of the good info you will find here.

I will not be at the World of Concrete but next week I'll will be at the International Builders show in Vegas. I don't think people realize how massive these show are. You spend 4 or 5 days there and still don't see everything there is to see.

As a remodeler I find them perfect for framing. Why drag out a compressor and hose plus a gun to frame out a wall, doorway of whatever framing job you have. Now would I frame a whole house with one? Probable not.
