Are all of the cells above the same mAh rating? I would be curious to see the cost per power of these batteries. Technological differences nonwithstanding.

I wasn't aware of that difference. I know in the kit the DCD970 is $30 more than the 950. I actually don't have any 18v tools as of yet, I was just going to buy the drill (with li-ion batteries) then add on bare tools as needed. I'll take a better look at our displays tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure you're right, that they're the same drill minus cosmetic differences.
