  1. Hi Roadhog. The changeover hasn't happened yet. You are already logged in here so you don't have to register. Once the changeover happens you will be redirected.
  2. We have one and no it will not bend PVC. We like it, it is great for unintended use. Its not as powerful and a fuel heater though.
  3. I just wanted to let everyone know that the Dewalt Owners Group will be merging with the Power Tool Forum over at Toolsinaction.com All your accounts and posts will remain the same it will just be in a different location. Thanks for all of your support over the years! See you over at TIA.
  4. Sounds like a drill issue if you are getting the proper voltage. Check the inside of the drill where the battery connects to make sure the prongs are not damage or obstructed. Sometimes batteries will hold the voltage but when you apply load they will die very fast. Sounds like they are just old batteries.
  5. Not sure Anthc you would be best to take it to a service center. You don't want it blowing apart when you are cutting. I had a non DeWALT saw with he same issue and it turns out it was the cutting disk.
  6. We have 2 DWS780's and have not had any slide issues. might have been only in a few saws.
  7. I am sure the quality is better in the USA or at least I feel like it is and you are supporting jobs for the USA which is always a good thing. Some precise quality products do come from China though like most Apple products.
  8. Maybe a small cordless bandsaw or a 20V bandsaw, that would be awesome!
  9. I am pretty sure with the correct inverter or adapter plug you can use it. But to play it safe I would find a cheap charger on eBay that matches the country you are in.
  10. If its less than 30 days I would go to Amazon returns. Dewalt has service centers also but may take longer. Sounds like you just have a defective unit.
  11. The chuck actually wobbles? or the bit inside the chuck? We have test quite a few and use them daily. No issues in fact DeWALT is one of the best chucks out there.
  12. Hi everyone, we are working on updating the forum. Hopefully you will enjoy the new changes. Post any issues here.
  13. Hi Wilkes, We are working on it thanks!
  14. We just got the PC impact and drill for review. I like them a lot. No real resemblance to the DeWALT 20V max. The drill has some power, we drove a 1" auger though a 4x4 with ease. The blocky design and color is just cool. Porter Cable just got a lot better in my book. The review will be up next week on TIA. Dan
  15. If you have an inkjet printer you can print a label with the Dewalt logo on it. or I am sure kinkos can do it. :}
  16. Probably one of my favorite tools also!
  17. No, no newbie section! lol whats up?
  18. Yes, it is a thermal imager! Good job spotting it. http://professional-power-tool-guide.com/2012/04/dewalt-heats-thermal-imager-market-news/
  19. What is your favorite tool? And what tool do you use the most?
