  1. Just received the replacement battery and got the new one with the fuel gauge. Hopefully this lasts a little longer than the first. Thanks Dewalt for taking care of it.
  2. I contacted Dewalt customer service and gave them a number off the battery and they are shipping me a new battery. I will follow up when I get the new battery.
  3. Went to use my 20V max drill and battery was dead. LED blinked when I pulled the trigger. I put it on the charger and the light does not light up at all. I did charge a 12v and a 20v battery and it worked fine. I don't use it very often and it's maybe been charged 4 or 5 times in year and a half. Anybody else have this problem? How long was the battery warranty on the 20V max batteries?
  4. It's on the decal on the bottom of the pack. The 1.5Ah packs show 30 watt hour.
  5. look at this brave soul... see the confusion it can cause? Not sure what confusion you're talking about. My drill chuck wobbles. The noese ring of the chuck does not run true, nor does a bit when it's in the chuck. For most hand drill applications, this isn't an issue. After taking on drill back I chose to live with the wobble. I went with Dewalt after returning two Bosch 12V compact drills that also had chucks that loosened and began to wobble. I solved my Dewalt problem by buying a Bosh 18V drill which just about the same size as the Dewalt 12V. Of these new 12V max tools, the drill has really disappointed me. The screwdriver and impact are great, just wished the drill had been built with quality that Dewalt claims.
  6. I bought the drill impact combo and the chuck wobbled on the drill, returned and exchanged and the replacement still wobbles, but not as bad the first one. What's disappointing for me is that I paid a premium price for a tool that appears to be built with substandard quality. For what this drill costs, it should not wobble.
  7. If you are a fan of Dewalt on Facebook, there's apparently a launch event at Disney Hollywood Studios tomorrow and tehy will be posting updates starting around 2ET.
  8. It will be interesting to see how many of these tools will be made in the USA.
  9. Hopefully you have better luck with your Bosch drill than I did. I used on one project and the chuck started to wobble and I couldn't keep drill bit tight either. Exchanged it and had the same problem with the new. It also seemed kinda loud as well. If you need the compact size and power of the Bosch, it's a great drill. I returned the Bosch and bought the Dewalt 12V max drill and impact combo.
