1. Check Craigslist for an older PM100. Not portable but a bullet proof planer and you can sharpen the blades. If you want portable the 735 is bad ass with the 734 coming in close. I used the 734 for a few years before finding a good used PM100.
2. Thanks for the tag@chrisk! Here is our 18' trailer. And here is a link to our van. Love the ToughSystem boxes!!
3. I have had very good results with Oshlun blades from Amazon and Tenryu blades. Both have Festool sizes. My ripping blade and aluminum blade are Tenryu and the Oshlun are very good general purpose blades. I have had good luck getting them resharpened as well by a competent sharpening service.
4. Which is a shame because the size of the midi is perfect for 90% of jobsite tasks.
5. Awesome build!! I love the vertical drawers! I might steal that idea.
6. So then it will "work" but not right out of the box. Really seems like they either need to release an update to the mini and midi to align more with the larger vac features. I love the size of my midi but really would like the BT remote feature as well. Our 36AC only comes out on larger jobs.
7. Why won't they fit? Because of the 90 hose?
8. I have used 3, 4, & 5's. Just depends on how hard you are using it.
9. Wtf Dewalt? I would be one of those early adoptors who feels a bit slighted...I really like my 20v 7-1/4 too...
10. Thanks@BMack37. The house is newer so all the cabling seems to be in good condition. No way to replace the miles of wired in this one. Approx 12 zones of audio. I will definitely test them though. Changing out equipment to new MCA-88 Russound.
11. I have a project where I need to trace down a bunch of cat5 and speaker wire. Thinking this will help out.
12. It seems well made. Heavy duty zippers, thick material, beefy straps. My supply house said they have sold a bunch and haven't had any issues.
13. It has been awhile since I have really bought any new tools. I have wanted to change from my old bucket organzier for my electric tools to something new. Decided to try a Klein backpack. So far so good...time will tell how clean and organized I keep it...lo! Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
14. I used the little one to blow snow off of a roof I was working on earlier this week. We use it all the time to clear dust off the roof deck when we are framing. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
15. Glad to hear you are doing well and the fam and work is good! Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
16. So glad your doing better Chris!! Scary to think it could've been missed. It must mean you have more life to live for brother. Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk
17. Get well soonChrisK! You are such an awesome person here, to your family, and to your community! Prayers buddy! Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk
18. In my top 3 of favorite Christmas movies!
19. Yep! If I didn't like their 12v line so much I would simply ignore their cordless offerings. Now on the 110v concrete side...I LOVE their smaller sds max combo drill/hammer! That thing is a beast. Core drills like a champ and demos tile and masonry well in small amounts too!
20. Their delay is one reason why I went back to Dewalt for my primary cordless tools. Just don't seem to really care much about the NA market.
21. AwesomeChrisk! Congrats! I am hoping the RO 90 hits the recon sale soon...
22. I have the EC impact. It is a solid unit. I Iike the way the Bosch feels better than the red stuff. Red has a nice variety of stuff but I prefer the Bosch 12v stuff for my trim and cabinetry work.
23. I am a Dewalt 20v guy too....but I love my 12v Bosch stuff. I have the drills, impacts, jigsaw, small vac, Flexiclick, and FL12 light. Great stuff! Looking to add the new planer and router soon.
24. My android has been down too. Logged in through web to let you know. My TT app had an update a week or so ago that changed the look of the app quite a bit. Ever since that app update TIA doesnt work. Hope that helps.
25. My company builds new homes and does remodeling. Our clients refer us a lot because of how clean our sites are. Always pick up trash, don't make a trip outside empty handed if debris is laying around, broom the floors daily, run vacs with tools when possible, run Hepa air cleaners if it is a lived in remodel, plastic barriers are your friend, require subs to clean their mess, etc. A few minutes daily goes a long way.
