  1. OK, I posted a couple of pictures in the gallery of the insides. You will have to decide if it's worth it!! I hope my explanations along with the pictures are understandable. Martin.
  2. I think it's possible but the internal wiring of the DC022 go from the charger ports to the main pcb. This pcb has the circuitry for the light too. I have the internal electronics out and will post a picture later of the two chargers boards. I think I'll have to post them in the gallery though. I would afix the separate dual charger the back of the DC022 and have the best of both worlds. Check later for the pics.

Maybe useful! But honestly, it wouldn't last 2 minutes. I think the motor and size of blades would drain the battery in minutes. Also, if there was a slight breeze the battery would drain even faster. Just my 2 cents.
  4. Who cares...it's YELLOW and BLACK... my favourite colours.
  5. I too , believe that Home Depot and the UK counterpart B&Q try to seal deals with these company's and buy in at stupid reduced prices for sole distribution. I say.. LONG LIVE the PROPER tool shop that sells all makes. Let the people speak by buying, not have a store brand made by some other company to benefit themselves. From the UK, I hope Home Depot suffer for trying to rule the market place.
  6. You gotta love this stuff... I want it all..Greedy ass me...I love the ladders too.....Give them to me now.
  7. I totally agree too. I want my stash to be YELLOW AND BLACK. Give me everything Dewalt.
  8. Are you kidding me? America has tenfold what we have here!! THe shears, the portable bandsaws, the bench grinders, the trestles etc. And in 18v and 240v versions too. oops 110volt versions too. There are so many tools available in the USA that we don't have here. Not to mention the hand tools range. I am an addict, I want all hand tools and all power tools, but i'll wait for the 240v version to hit the UK. If you can send me absolutely anything! I would appreciate it...Hammer, hacksaw, wrench, pliers etc. Absolutely anything. $1 to $300. I can pay you first via paypal or the like. Cheers. Martin.
  9. Hi Darren, bit late i know but..... Amazon and Ebay shipped to me. There are a lot of USA suppliers that wont though. I just tried lots of suppliers entering my location and post code. Most did not but some did. So I used them. But I paid through the nose to have them posted.
  10. Sorry for a late reply.I have not been on for ages. I hope you sorted it by now. Generally, the discs run the same way as to unlock the disc. If your disc runs clockwise, you undo it clockwise too. This is because of the AUTO locking nut. As it spins, it self tightens. This is obviously a safety factor for all grinders and tools that spin. I checked mine and indeed, anti-clockwise to release the blade. Run your tool briefly to see the direction the blade spins, then unlock the same way. If you have a problematic nut/arbor you can put the blade in a vice and tap hard with a hammer on the edge of the nut or put your two pronged spanner in and harshly knock it in the correct direction. Hope this helps. Martin.
  11. Sorry Dewalt fans, just a headline to grab your attention.. I am in the UK. We have some of the electrical tools and cordless tools.. We don't have the new hand tools. I have bought a few from ebay/amazon via BLOODY AMERICA. For example: utility knife $6.99 + p&p $12.99. Allen key set metric $9.99 + $13.49 p&p Today, I bought a hard hat, ear defenders and a 10 piece screwdriver set. $47.00 but paid $146.00 inc p&p. Please guys, send them to me at ocean prices! not first class plane prices. This is a moan and not directed to my American friends............I am just bloody jealous. Sorry Sorry And sorry you lucky Gits..
  12. I have the 24volt adapter (240v) UK. I have made one for my 12volt and 18volt systems too. The 12v works a treat. My 18volt system however, lacks power and gets hot. It needs a higher amp transformer which cost a lot. And are too big to fit in the empty battery case. My fool proof solution was to buy one, or in my case two or three of each tool. I always have corded and cordless tools with me although I use the cordless tools much more. In fact, the only times I use the corded tools are when: Routing, Sanding, planing, core drilling, concrete breaking etc. Oops, and Mitre saws, I never bought the cordless one. All other situations I use cordless tools. My favourites are the biscuit jointers, drills/drivers/sds, torches, circular saws, recip saws, cut out tools and grinders. My 18v tools definately get used more than all others.
