Hello! Please take a look into this thread in the german "werkzeug-news", especially this and this posting! Is DeWalt building for Ryobi or is Ryobi building for DeWalt?

Hi folks, my first posting in this amazing forum I'm from Germany and I am using DeWalt since I bought my first one in 1996, an Elu SBA75 (Hammerdrill/driver 14.4V). At the moment I am using this Elu SBA75, a DW984 (14.4V Hammerdrill/driver as it's follower), a DW920, and a DCD710S2. Really amazed about the very good performance from the DCD710S2 I would like to change all to Li-Batteries. But as I see, there are some new machines with brushless motor, and the direct competitor Milwaukee has got brushless hammerdrill/drivers in its program. So, are there rumours or plans to introduce a follower for the DCD985, which has got only a standard brushed-motor? It would be no problem for me to wait a few months, but I really want MORE POWER greetings, Dirk
