I recently bought 2 new XRP Li-ion batteries to replace the spent Nicad batteries that came with my set. I have several tools that have the old housing that doesn't quite fit the new Li-ion. Sure they work fine, they just extend out over the newer batteries. My question is...I can buy new clamshell nano housings for my tools at minimal prices, but don't know how difficult it would be to change them out? It would sure be cheaper than replacing my tools, and would seem like a new set. Any thoughts?
