  1. clicking the trigger on my DCL040 work light just makes the LED flash once for an instant then nothing... Full batteries work on my other tools fine, has a 2011 date code but purchased in 07/2012...
  2. bought a used D28770 and for the most part got a killer deal but when i run the saw without load (pressure into the cut) the blade comes off... Any ideas? Need new rubber "tires"?
  3. I'm a commercial electrician and the 2 most common tools i use every day are an impact driver and reciprocating saw. daily tasks vary but every day i take 2 batteries off the charger in the morning and put them in my tools, and place my 2 other batteries onto the chargers. the next morning I swap, the 2 batteries i used the day before go into the charger, the 2 that charged all day/night go into my tools, repeat repeat 5 days a week... That's the most common routine, if I end up doing some heavy cutting with my grinder or drilling with my hammer drill etc, I switch em out when they die. My question is, will this charging method ruin my batteries over time? create a memory? I do this same routine with my 18v XRP NiCads but not as much now that they retired to the garage/home
  4. my 18v DC022 is the only thing keeping me from selling off my 18v line of tools. I'm already well invested into the 20v line which I use at work but the 18v line has been retired to the garage/home... BUT as an electrician, the DC022 is an awesome tool for power shutdowns/changeovers. The dual charger, the GFCIs, the bright work light, 120v AC / 18VDC operation, what's not to love?... (The DC020 does NOT charge and only uses one battery, no thank you.) Please consider a 20v max version of the DC022!
