Ok thanks for the advice. I can get about 150mm if I put some scrap wood under the piece I'm cutting. But it's a bit of a pain, especially when trying to cut skirting. Great pics of your van btw.

Hi. I'm currently using a makita mls100 mitre saw, but looking to get something bigger as the cut is only about 150mm, I'm Going to get a dewalt saw to match rest of my kit. Anyone tell me the best saw to get, I'll be cuttin 170mm etc. Thanks

Thanks, I'll probably buy it as a bare unit, as Can get them for around £120.00. Is there any news on the radio coming out in the uk yet?

I just have to say how pleased I am with this circular saw. A lot more power than I expected from a cordless saw. It made my job a joy to finish yesterday. Does anyone have any views on the xr jigsaw as that's what I'm looking at getting next. Thanks. Mat
