I recently purchased a DWX723 miter saw stand and a DW715 miter saw, go to bolt up the mounting brackets on the saw, and found holes were not the correct size. They should have been 5/16" (.312") to allow the miter saw mounting brackets to fit. A quick pass through with a reamer opened up the holes. I notified DeWalt at their website about the problem, and they said engineers have been told of this minor defect, and hopefully future miter saws will have the correct size holes.

How do you tell the differences between the type 1,2, and 3, DW715 miter saws? I recently purchased a DW715, and would like to know what accessories will fit.
