Will the handle that comes with the DCD985 premium hammer drill fit on the collar that is on the DCD785 compact drill? Thanks!

I agree with the market being saturated with oscillating tools, however to round out the 20v max cordless line it would be awesome to have one that works with my existing batteries and not have to use someone else battery and charger.

Thanks for the input everyone! I went ahead and put an order in for the new brushless hammer combo, I'm sure if the circuit board fried dewalt would cover it in their warranty. Thanks guys!

Hello everyone, I'm interested in thoughts on the new brushless compact drill/driver models. In particular are the electronics a week point in the life if the drills or will they hold up over time. I like the run time, however the brushes are not that big of a deal to replace where as the the circuit board may be prohibitive to replace if it goes? Or perhaps wait a generation for the brushless? Thanks!
