All I saw on the parts diagram is #23 for a conversion kit. Is this correct? Would I be better off doing the GRP service for $99.00, where anything bad, worn, etc is replaced for the flat fee?

Thanks for such a fast reply. I use this drill daily (over the last 4 yrs or so). So, I just go to the service website and I should be able to find the chuck part # easy enough? I'll report back if I can't.

Hi all, I have a DCD970, which has been a workhorse for me, never an issue until now. The chuck will not hold a bit in reverse, as soon as I go to loosen a screw, etc the chuck release my bit immediately. Any ideas how I can repair this? Date Code is 2009 29-49 Thanks!
