Hi Everyone I just purchased a DW745 Table Saw. Im excited to use it but also scared shitless. Obviously I wanna be as safe as I can. My question is if I have the blade guard on I am unable to lower the blade to the IDEAL position to cut my piece of wood... I know its best to have the blade no more then a 1/2 inch above the wood you are cutting. So I guess im wondering if I should take the blade guard off so i have the ideal height or if I should leave the guard on even though the blade will be about a inch / inch and half above the wood. Please let me know your thoughts.
