Yea I thought about getting into the M18 line but the flexvolt promos that are going on now are too good, under $300 for grinder, charger and 3 batteries. I agree with this if you are using it in a shop, which can hold true for many cordless tools as well. But if you are outside or don't care about a hose (which in a shop I don't see that happening) then I can see this being beneficial. Being a DYIer I can see this in helping with ripping sheet goods, I have a table saw but often work by myself so I could see this helping me. Well if you have a cordless compressor does that make all your pneumatic tools cordless?

@Jronman I don't think Sears is done just yet but they are hemorrhaging hence the latest sale of the craftsman brand to Stanley BD, they are doing many things to try to stay relevant and profitable, but I think the writing is on the wall for this once giant and it makes me sad (even though I don't shop them anymore since Craftsman went over seas)

I want the 60V track saw, I saw a video on the 54V track saw and the reviewer was really impressed with the power, and I have found myself in situations where a track saw would be handy.
