I have bosch 18v. I think 2016 is their year to update the circular saw and recip saw. Then again I thought it was bosch's year to do that in 2013 then 2014 and then I was sure it would definitely happen 2015
I'm a righty but like the blade on the left of the motor like the wormdrive saws. I knew bosch made a sidewinder with this setup but I just read a bunch of reviews on amazon and thought there were too many complaints from people about the motor burning out after a few months of regular use and also cheap build quality. Me being a bosch fan boy, this is sad news but I did find out that milwaukee also makes a left handed corded sidewinder (6391-21) that got amazing reviews so I might go with that one. Does anyone own a bosch non wormdrive that has been reliable or know of a any other good quality corded left handed sidewinders? I'm hoping these amazon reviews are inaccurate and sometimes I feel like people who review on amazon don't know a drill from an impact driver. Thanks
I've been waiting for bosch to release a new cordless circ saw and sawzall for over two years. I'm hoping 2016 is the year. I'm getting their wormdrive table saw this march to help with the waiting period.
Id buy hilti or metabo for my 18v core tools and cover everything else with milwaukee 12v. Every contractor I've worked for (6 yrs) are still using nicad dewalt and even ryobi. Nothing against my bosch 18v, but it'd be nice to own a Rolls Royce over a BMW
I moved out to California from Massachusetts and the only saw I brought out here is the bosch 18v jig saw. I've used it to cut studs, metal posts, tops off 6x6 fence posts. Nothing it's really meant for, but I realized how versatile a jig saw can be (with the right blade).
Enough with the explanation points and introducing yourself every day. Name something about Frankie g or Nicholas shetley and I will buy up all your revolutionary state of the art tools
I've been waiting for milwaukee to release one for months. I assumed it would be a bosch or metabo style 12v trim saw, but it looks like any other cordless 18v circular saw. Does anyone know the blade size on the milwaukee? I looked at the video and a pic but I can't know for sure.
I have this impact and I like it a lot, but I also have the dewalt dcf886. Their specs are the same when it comes to rpm and ipm but the bosch is rated as having 150 more in lbs in tourque. For some reason my dewalt can drive 8x1/2 in lag bolts faster and with less strain.
