  1. In the European ads, they had a miter stand, sawhorse and "Jawhorse". What are the chances we'll get these this year?
  2. Nice design. I would be looking for more of a hand truck with a fold out mdf table. I like the Festool "MultiFunctionTable" MFT with the mdf top, but it is pretty big and heavy, also no wheels.. Something that can easily be put into a pick-up by one guy. These would be great for factory electrician or a property maintenance guy or gal. Nice find.
  3. I'm really hoping the symposium is tomorrow. Modular boxes would be great, otherwise Dewalt will get my cash. Does anybody know where it's held?
  4. I'm still wondering why TTI has Ryobi working on this tech. It would seem more in line with the Milwaukee brand....Nothing but heavy duty etc. Ryobi has stepped up their game recently, but how many regular homeowners are trimming out their houses and will spend the money on a bare tool. TTI might be playing a dangerous game, Milwaukee supporters having to buy Ryobi tools and batteries. I wonder how much tech sharing the TTI tool companies have?
  5. In the early shots of this saw, it had a vacuum attachment on the blade housing. It would be nice if all future "saw" products had a hose attachment that worked well. Customers love a clean house/yard.
  6. Dewalt is coming out with a version soon. It looks to have a much heavier duty frame/wheel setup. You can't see it fully from the back though. I saw it on one of the other blogs, he has an "article" on it.
  7. From the pictures online , it looks like they have two different lengths and only two heights, so far... DynaCase also makes huge storage/shipping trunks. They have that old school look with metal corners, reinforced ribs and many sizes/shapes.
  8. A shot of the inside of the Bucket.
  9. So there are pictures all over Google of the new Milwaukee DynaCase tool boxes. I've seen their tool box with the plastic flaps but I have no real experiences with it or the brand. They will be connectable and they have some different carts. I haven't seen a taller one or one with drawers yet. I'm liking the design even though they are not waterproof. A top handle while stacked would have been appreciated. Looks like they made the Job Box to hold the Sawzall. You could fit a lot of Milwaukee's best hand tools in this box. And you can get a shoulder-strap also for the cases.
  10. Another case of I bought one, two weeks too soon... Great deal.
  11. Javier, Careful about that tiered box. The wheels and axle are weak. I also read the handle is extremely weak. I was looking at one of those and doing some welding to make a new wheel/frame. I dig the design but not the execution. There's even a guy who put straps through the frame to carry it up stairs. He never did show himself taking it off, or picking it up off the ground. I'm still in a holding pattern myself, looking for a stackable Milwaukee set.
  12. I have the 23" and the 28" versions and both have 2 very tight metal latches. I think you might be talking about Brien's "easy one hand latch" version from above. I haven't tried that one yet, so I can't speak on it.
  13. Interesting concept. Still hoping on a modular stackable unit. Considering Dewalt has two versions of what i am looking for, they will probably get my couple hundred dollars. It might work as a painter's/mudder box. When is the yearly product convention/demo?
  14. The waterproofing saved me today, thanks to rain falling sideways. I am actually really liking the 23" version, It forces me not to overfill it.
  15. I have the Fuel and it replaces a corded saw unless you will be timber framing. I also have the old 18vNicad circ. I'd say Milwaukee makes the best cordless circ.
  16. Can you fit the circ, sawzall, multi-tool and 12 v drills? Basically the tools from above with bit boxes and chargers?
  17. A motorized handtruck, Conductor you might be onto something...
  18. I've noticed that Milwaukee has many different style handtrucks, and I was wondering if they are rebranded from somebody else. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-600-lb-Capacity-Flow-Back-Solid-Tire-Hand-Truck-HT700/100207835?N=5yc1vZc89rZ1z0tur1 http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-1000-lb-Capacity-Convertible-Modular-Aluminum-Hand-Truck-60136/100046429 Does anybody have any experience with these? My hope for a stack-able modular tool box and handttruck combination has got me thinking.
  19. These toolboxes really are a great alternative to the Milwaukee 26" box.
  20. Here is the tool fight between the Milwaukee Job Box and the DeWalt Tough Box.
  21. Yep, I was a deck seaman on a LHD. Painting the sides was my pastime....
  22. So after buying the 28" version of this toolbox, I think the 23" is more reasonable for transport. It is actually a little shorter and not as wide. It also comes with a top tray and metal latches. I could only find these on Amazon and at Lowe's. They sell them as a Bostitch brand or as Stanely Fatmax version. To get an idea of size; you can fit a Milw. circ and 2 12v drill/impact and a battery charger without the top tray. Bostitch 23" Waterproof Toolbox Outside: length- 23" width- 11.75" height- 10.75" Inside Square Dimensions: length- 19.25" width- 9.25" height- 9" Tray: length- 14.13" width- 8.25" height- 1.5" Lid (below ribbing): length- 19" width- 7.5" height- 1.5" Opening next to tray: length- 5.5" width- 9.25" If Milwaukee doesn't come out with a stackable/lockable(systainer) option, I might just buy a few of these and an appliance hand truck for easy movement. Hope this helps with pre-purchases.
  23. Here's the Milwaukee ad for YouTube.
