Here's the new Milwaukee YouTube ad. There must be another box coming out to hold the Fuel Circ.

The 26" Milwaukee Work Box is supposedly out at Home Depot. June was the release month, just in time for Fathers Day sales. I don't think you can fit both the Fuel circ and sawzall and drills it though. I haven't seen an actual in hand review of it yet. It would be nice to see a real review of it......Tools in Action version or a Javier version.

In my searching for just the right tool box, I've purchased a DeWalt 28" waterproof toolbox. The design is shared across dewalt, Stanley and Bostitch lines, in two different sizes. It is heavy duty enough to stand on and load up with tools. At 28" it is kinda difficult to get through doorways and very heavy when full. I've seen them at Home Depot and Tractor Supply. There are built-in side handles, a tray for both sizes(not matching) and a heavily ribbed lid. I could not find the real dimensions online, so here's a rundown: DeWalt 28" Waterproof Toolbox Outside: length-28" width-12.5" height-11.5" Inside Square Dimensions: length-24.75" width-9.5" height-10" Tray: length-16.25" width-9" height-2" Lid (below ribbing): length-24" width-8" height-1.5" Opening next to tray: 8.5" x 10.25" I cut some slats in the lid for some hook-n-loop tape to hold my 2' level and reg wood saw. I also had an old "bucket boss" and cut that up and bolted it to the "opening next to tray" for some hand tools.

My Nicad tools still run strong, I'm using them as backups for now.

In the Dewalt "keep the hard cases alive" thread, I mentioned that the Fuel tools fit the old 4-tool cases. "I recently bought some new Milwaukee tools and they fit in my old nicad circ/sawzall/drill/light box. The circ needs to be pulled/held forward and the Sawzall needs to be just perfect, but it closes.The circ slide-in guide even fits the new saw, and the charger fits perfectly. I can fit both 12v drivers in the same space as the old hammer drill with a little trimming. Now I need to get a new light and check the fit. Then make some cuts where the old hammer drill clip-on handle went and use this to put a "right angle" drill or multitool in that spot with some hook and loop tape. I test fit everything and the case is damn heavy, probably too heavy. Just adding an extra 12v drill and the 12v multitool and extra batteries really adds up the weight fast. I'm scared to cut it up.....waiting on the yet to be announced stackable Milwaukee tool boxes. Please hurry up Milwaukee." So here's the pic.

I've used the Milwaukee tilt-lock and it has always worked well for heavy construction. Recently I've been using a Fuel Circ and it is excellent. I put a 40 tooth Diablo for "trim" on it and the cut is clean . Not Festool clean, but nice enough.

I have been looking for a decent socket/wrench set and have seen these at wally's world. I'm not a mechanic, I'm just looking for a decent set. Dewalt/BD seems to have a socket/wrench "brand" in every store nowadays. Is the Bostitch set a true step lower than the new Dewalt set? I found something interesting while searching for a video review of the new Work Box, the M Box 100 PD Hammer Drill kit. The review is from a few months back and from an European website. The kit includes a tool box, 18v hammer drill, two 4 ah batt, one 2 ah batt, dual charger and a 100pc drill set. The tool box has foam inserts, ball bearing lower drawer and metal/plastic construction. Does not seem to have any stackable latches/connections. Is this an old design I missed?

Very interesting, here's what I said on the main page.. I love the corner tool pockets and the connections for the battery charger. I bought one of those 28″ dewalt/bostitch waterproof boxes (very similar in design). I even cut slots in the lid ribbing to tie up my hand saw and 2 foot level in the lid with hook/loop tape. They sure do get heavy when filled. I was kinda hoping for a 22-24 inch toolbox that will fit through doorways/hallways more easily. Something easily tied to a hand truck. I am still looking for a box for my tool only Fuel Circ and it’s awkward dimensions. What are the dimensions of the inside of the box? Are they coming out with more options? I understand there are no stackable latches, but how about little feet/notches so they can stack without falling over?

This is a great website and forum, I am glad I found it. A little rundown of who I am, married with a dog and two cats. Currently living in Mass. Is there any word on this. I would really be interested in something waterproof but not as heavy as a DewaltTough Box. Something to be used as a work station/tool box. 1.Battery Charger outlets or powerstrip, place for rolled up extension cord 2.Hooks or shelves for chargers, m12 radio, m12 stick light or m18 flood light etc 3. Attachment points for clamps and hanging your drill/impact 4. An "appliance style" hand truck that has big enough wheels to go up stairs and across lawns/rocks There is European woodworker using Festool that has a folding table attached to a 2 wheel custom dolly with systainers boxes, maybe talk to this guy.
