Thanks guys its for a bmw 335, I bought the cf sheets and use wood working tool techniques to shape and cut the cf lol. granted i did what i could without a tig welder which was why im using alum angle brackets with titanium bolts/nylon backing steel nuts. made some side fins using my dewalt miter saw with a 84 teeth diablo blade,a ryobi jig saw and a hf belt sander ahhaha. the center section is supported with 2 7075 alum rods with is drilled and tapped (m6x1.0) for the titanium torx 30 bolts. I used a hf weed torch to burn the panel in seconds with was really neat! some progress from yesterday . i was actually into race car fabbing before i made it into wood working so basically just transferred skill set and tools hehe. i just have this addiction to try out new tools which was one of the reasons i started with wood...making useful furniture was just a plus...thanks all!
