  1. Hey guys, word was that the M18 Stand Light was to be released in Sept. Well, here we are, and it's nowhere insight. Just a long shot here, but does anyone here have info on the "specific" release date? I'VE JUST GOT TO HAVE THAT THING! Thanks...
  2. Thanks for the positive feedback guys!
  3. Can I plug an M18 charger into a 500W cigarette lighter inverter, and safely charge a M18 5.0 battery? If so, does anyone have any recomendations on brand? Is a 500W the biggest that can plug into a cigarette lighter? If not, what is the biggest? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  4. What about M12 one-key? Will they have those tools? And if so, I guess now that I’ve invested so heavily in that platform, I’d have to start over again right… of course that’s only if the features are worth the investment for me. It just seems like they just came out with the new M12 fuel stuff, especially the circular saw, and now they’re saying thanks for buying these top of the line expensive tools thinking that you’re getting the best of the best, but guess what? , we knew this was coming and now you have to suck it up, and accept that your just released tools suck compared to these very soon to be released tools, THAT WE KNEW ABOUT ALL ALONG. I feel that they’re taking advantage of my addiction to buying the newest, “bestest”, tool on the market! BUT THEN AGAIN IT REALLY IS MY ISSUES THAT HAVE TO BE DEALT WITH. IT’S NOT THERE FAULT I’M SUCH A TOOL JUNKIE! LOL! But, I really love that my team really keeps blowing the rest AWAY. I mean really, Dewalt has blue tooth batteries. WOW! That was underwelming to begin with, but this makes them
  5. Okay, its tomorrow. I've been to the one - key website (in which the countdown clock is showing all 0's) signed up for the email alert, checked there Twitter, and Facebook accounts, and still don't know anything. Anybody know what's going on?
  6. I have a GS3 Phone, and signed up for Twitter although the format and operation of it completely baffle me. I KNOW, I'M A MORON WHEN IT COMES TO THIS TECH STUFF. But, I'm trying to learn. Anyway, I'm following TIA, and never get notified when a periscope video is coming on, and whenever I click on the link to get to periscope, I just get some type of faulty screen that doesn't function from their site. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO KNOW WHEN A PERISCOPE STREAM IS ABOUT TO COME ON AND HOW TO ACTUALLY VIEW IT? Thanks, to anyone willing to take the time to help out. I would be very grateful
  7. Thanks for the rectification ankur. Did that $99 holiday deal include the free 3.0 battery like this kit? That would be an awesome deal that I would definitely wait for...
  8. Thanks, I just wiped on a couple coats of tung oil.
  9. This is a decent deal even if its just for the batteries. Don't know if its at all HD'S. Although there not the fuel version, they are the newer version of their brushed drivers.
  10. Hey PeteW. Thanks for the guidance. Hope this works right. I have 2 M12 fuel circular saws (one of which I won at an HD drawing simply for buying a tape measure) 2 rotary tools, oscillating tool, fuel impact driver and hammer drill, pvc cutters, jigsaw, sawzall, the new vacuum, 2 lanterns, 2 radios, and a bluetooth speaker. Now, I'm just waiting for some more new stuff to come out!
  11. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I'm still figuring out how this site works. Seems like a while lot to sort through. How do I reply directly to someone that has commented on one of my post. For example: above PeteW asked what M12 tools do I own. Do I just answer individual questions down here and address them to the person asking, or is there something to click on near there comment that would allow me to reply and them to get an individual notification that I answered there question?
  12. Thanks, she already received it, loved it, and my wife wants me to do something on par with that for her mother. Problem is I'm not too sure I can top this one. It just kind of took a life of its own as I was building. But then again, that's kind of how all of my projects work. No significant advanced planning, just an idea, what's on hand, and a lot of time. Then I look back, and wonder how I pulled it off...
  13. Made from cypress and spanish cedar drop offs.
  14. Hey everybody, I'm Dennis, and this is the first forum I've ever participated in. I'm not even sure how this all works, but I'm trying to learn. I hope I'm able to contribute productively. All I know is, that I seem to have a problem BUYING TOOLS THAT I DON'T EVEN NEED:-) And this seems like the perfect support group for such a problem. Um, scratch that, I do always"justify" the purchase some how...No really...
