  1. PVC ceiling is great for bathrooms, requires no maintenance, and does not go black with damp the way drywall would
  2. New bathroom just completed this morning- 600x300 grade 5 porcelain tiles, 1200x900 offset quad tray and doors, wall mounted unit and basin, backlit mirror, 1400x500 heated towel rail, PVC ceiling and led spotlights with inline shower fan/light. Be interested what u guys think. Cheers
  3. It's just an adjustable head, 5 different spray patterns when u turn the handle.
  4. A few pics of an ensuite I completed last week
  5. Hi Chris, yes the bosch axial glide is on my wish list too! Hi Matthew can't really comment on the TStaks as can't get them over here. But I can't complain about the l-box they have served me very well.
  6. house not in a city it's about 20 miles from the nearest town. That's shower doesn't run off the mains supply. Cold from the storage tank and hot from the cylinder. The pressure in the house is very poor and the customer wanted power shower pressure. 2.0 bar Grundfos pump installed in the hot press.
  7. Thanks Chris the tiling was the easy part. The existing tiles were stuck on to sand/cement render and were a nightmare to remove. Took 2 of us a full day with kangos to remove them, I then had to replanted the walls to straighten them out. New 2.0 bar pump installed to run the shower. Was a lot of work but the customer delighted with the finished product.
  8. L boxxs are great had them well over a year now and yes they get a lot of abuse and they are still perfect no bother with hinges or latches! All my bosch tools take quite a hammering and they never miss a beat! What power tools do u use Chris?
  9. Hi Chris not sure who makes the makita box. It's the only makita tool I have that's in that type of box so not sure how they stack. Great robust box though
  10. Must b a bad title to this post! Lol
  11. Thanks guys. PT Custom. We have AC here, 230v but most of my tools are 110v for site safety. Uploaded a few pics of my tools in the toolbox area of the forum. I will put up pics of some of my completed projects soon. Thanks great to be on the Tia forum
  12. Just some of the tools I use in my bathroom renovation business. First is the bosch GBH 8-45 DV a great rotary hammer drill. Drills 45mm holes through concrete block in seconds, and amazing chipping! Stunning tool. Next is the bosch GBH 2-28 DFV another rotary hammer drill. Great for removing wall and floor tiles and cutting tracks for pipes and cables in solid walls. Next bosch 10.8v monster kit including multitool, sabre saw, combi drill driver-not shown- being used ! radio and LED torch, use these tools daily Next is the bosch 18v twin pack impact driver- I believe best on the market , and the combi drill driver Bosch again with the GLL 2-50 laser level Another bosch lol this time the GHO 25-82 planer Makita yes makita plunge saw with guide rails, great for cutting sheet material And I'll finish with a few accessories in the bosch l-boxx I have a lot more tools and will put more pics up when I get time to take more pics lol Would love to here what u guys in the US think of these tools and what alternatives u might use over there Cheers
  13. Hi guys, I run a small construction company, specialising in complete bathroom renovations. My partner and I carry out all the work between the two of us. Plumbing, joinery, plastering, tiling, electrical and any necessary ground works. Very interested in the different brands of tools u guys use in the US. Most of our power tools are bosch professional. Recently purchased a makita plunge saw and rail which has proven to be very useful. Love to talk to everyone about the different tools u guys use. Great to b on the forum cheers
