In retrospect, you'll obviously go with what platform you are already with. Per battery the milwaukee out performs the makita. I have used both extensively on jobs it's and enjoy the milwaukee much more. When using the milwaukee I carry the saw with a battery and a battery in a charger. When using the makita I have two in the saw, and two chargers and batteries. It's much more convenient to use the milwaukee. Neither will clearly get the run time of a corderd skilsaw clearly. the milwaukee is much less drama when using it on the job

After be sick and tired of buying oscillating blades which are expensive weather their chicago electric or bosch I figured Id give these a shot. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/cr/B00B2MJI4Y/ref=mw_dp_cr. 50 blades for $60. I figured it's worth a shot considering my rate of dulling them haha. They come out to $1.20 a blade, hopefully I'll give y'all a review in a few weeks

The other day I bought a three pack of bosch blades, Japanese style teeth. (Forgive me for not having the model number.) They cut awesome thru the oak door jambs and casing I was cutting. But as soon as they touched a nail the teeth dropped like flys. 3 pack of blades for $30 gone in a day....boy don't I feel like a jackass

I use them only a daily basis. Right angle off set. As a commercial carpenter I use them to cut steel studs and track aswell as other things and they haven't dulled a bit. The way the two blades are fitted tof ether keeps them tight and the blades won't split apart cutting thick matterial. Better than milwaukee, wiss, and any others you have to tgrow at them:) just my opinion haha

I also carry a milwaukee fsstback, usually the black carbide spring assisted. Great knife

Well since I've posted last, my 28 oz. Steel shaft estwing has been stolen:/ the plus side is I'm now in the market for a new hammer haha.as tempted as I am for a stiletto, I think I'm gonna go with another estwing. I believe its a 22 oz. It's got a hickory handle. The one I saw last night at HD was beautiful. It had a really dark piece of hickory....I think I'm gonna head back

okay guys....I need some opinions about the sawstop

Saw stops are as safe as a table saw can be. I truly believe that as I witnessed and incident in woodshop when I was in highschool. A kid was ripping a board with out the fence and loss control leading him to touch the blade with his finger. The blade shot down as it should and saved his hand. He was still left with a nice little gash but nothing some bandages and superglue couldn't fix. I would highly suggest it, especially in your case -

I'm a union carpenter in Chicago but mostly use steel studs. All though I do use my hammer frequently everyday, I have estwing steel hammers that'll outlive me. Just not sure if the investment is worth it for me

Hahaha well just to be clear I'm a guy, but nothing is sexier than a girl with some milwaukee drills haha....and stiletto hammers?

Hey just want to know if anyone here on the forums has a stiletto hammer or anything from them for the matter of fact. Are they worth the money or are they just something to make you feel cool? Haha

Hey everyone! Ibe been wanting to get an organizer for all of my paint and taping supplies. Brushes, rollers, mud pan, exc. I was wondering how the 13" milwaukee job box would work? I'd be nice to be able to stand on it for cutting ceiling and other high work. What do u guys think? Does any one know if it'll fit a normal size roller handle?

Well milwaukee just my favorite and have never let me down. Im a conplete tool junkie and add to my collection weekly!
