  1. Nice!! That table saw looks great, especially for 100 Doesn't it feel awesome to clear out some old junk and make room for new tools in the shop. I just had a tag sale last weekend and sold sooo much stuff that I didn't need or use anymore. It was just in my way. The money was great but even better was the fact that my garage/basement is organized now
  2. Joe, I would hope that Hitachi will use Metabo as their high end line, keep the name and try to compete with Makita, Milwaukee, Dewalt, even maybe Hilti.. Hitachi should at that point fall back to compete with the entry/middle grade tool companys. I would love to see solid, quality expansion of Metabo and much better distribution.
  3. That's really freakin cool!!
  4. I'm looking forward to trying their new 7.25" framing blade and cerment steel setting blades
  5. I know some manufacturers have electronics in place to record every battery that is clipped into the tool. If a 3rd party battery is used it will void the warranty on the tool. Something good to consider. Not sure if that is the deal with m12
  6. Yup, at 34 I just couldn't resist. Some new 2p10 activator got me over the 40
  7. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I wonder why they haven't already phased out the 1.5 and 3ah In the article it mentions having problems if the tools are left to sit for a long period of time. Maybe that's why I never had any noticeable issues with all my batteries... I use my tools daily
  8. You looking at the Dewalt DW745? It's a great saw. Not sure if it will drop below the 300 mark, thas what it has been in the past and it's a great price for that saw.
  9. Seriously. I am very pleased. I don't really know if the pictures do them full justice. They are crazy bright in person
  10. 50% of a comparable new unit or what it sold for new back in the day?? I'm going to try to snap some pictures of it tomorrow..
  11. I know sometimes a good older unit can be worth decent money.. problem is I just have no clue what it's worth or what I would even pay for it..
  12. I got the 2 of them in Saturday and had a minute today to mess with them. I have to say, so far I am very very happy with the purchase.. The ground wire is indeed connected on both They are insanely bright. Haven't measured the watts yet but honestly I don't know if I will. They are plenty bright for what I need.
  13. I've been wanting to get the cordless sander but I know it won't compare to any of my festools.. I really do prefer to sand with the vac attached so I might as well use a festool sander at that point but every now and then I would love the ability to sand cordless. How is it power wise? Do you have the ets125 or any other 5" ROS sander? How does it compare
  14. Glad your keeping busy man! Sweet ass radio!!
  15. Are you kidding me. That is insane money for a push mower. Who the f buys this?!?!
  16. I hope this is polite to say... Man, you've got one bad ass little girl!!! That is really cool stuff, you must be so proud of her. I hope if I have a daughter one day she is half as cool as yours
  17. Without a doubt. They really have so many bases covered
  18. What kind of metal is that... at first I thought titanium but once you said oil refinery I thought maybe not... stainless? Those colors are crazy
  19. Hey all. I have an older atlas 6" jointer. 42" table. The motor is craftsman. Not sure of the age but it is all nice cast iron with a red atlas logo cast into the front of the unit. Fence has multiple stop angles and is really well built.. I would throw up a picture but it's in my parents garage. Works fine as of a few years ago but might have light surface rust from sitting I would clean it up before selling. I have a guy interested in buying it off me but I have no idea what it's worth.. any help would be appreciated.
  20. The fuel sawzall was literally the only tool that made me want to buy milwaukee. Not anymore
  21. Yeah, a lot of similarities but just not quite. I would love to see if that cyclone thing would fit the makita. I would imagine
