Hilarious!! I told that one to the guy that works for me earlier, he got a good kick out of itlol don't get me started.....this guy's wife said "honey I want bigger boobs."......the guy says "hmmm...why don't you rub toilet paper between them"... she says "what the heck is that gonna do?" he says...."I don't know, it worked on your ass"

A past customer of mine (funny guy) once told me how to determine true/unconditional love..
Lock your dog and your wife in the trunk of a car for a few hours, when you finally open it up, who's happy to see you???
I suggest you don't actually try this, wouldn't want to be that cruel to a dog! Lol

I'm seriously digging that peachy!! I might just have to order one. The July 2015 or later ship date is killing me though

3D printers are really cool and are coming a long way as of recent.. I always figure I wouldn't be able to design the product that I wanted to print the but imagine it's just a matter of learning the software..
that peachy looks pretty slick!!

Frankie, Chad and Comp, really great looking dogs!!
Frankie, Screw the ADT sticker on your window.. just tape a picture of the dogs to the front door!! probably way more effictive!

i had to get my dog icon in here! nothing really useful to say otherwise
seems like a gimmic product to me, however it isnt the worst idea i have seen go with the diablo carbide recip blades, im positive they will last way longer than both sides of that other blade combined!

That tool is not discontinued, i have the exact one... It has lifetime warranty, just find a snap on dealer in ur area and he should take care of it for u, more then likly if the head of the unit is fine then he will replace the internal workinga for u.
when i search the snap-on site for the FLF936 it just redirects me to the FLF80 they look to be very similar but the bolts on the 80 are on the underside of the ratchet holding the gear plate on and mine go through the entre head from the top side where the toggle is.
how do i go about finding a dealer? their site is not the easiest to navigate and im not a regular snap on user so im unaware of where any may be. my zip is 06107

This ratchet is my lone Snap-on tool and she is not doing so well
when in the "off" position the handle will move either way, this makes it quite hard to loosen a bolt!!
The direction lever does click firmly into the off position so it isn't caught in the middle somewhere
What's the warranty on something like this?
If I need a repair kit, where do I get it?
Model # FLF936 -
I went through 3 models of zircons from basic to mid range and never really liked any of them. Then I got the Pro Sensor 710 and wow.. it just works! Not perfect on plaster but the best I have seen.. sometimes a magnet is the only way to go

you will be saying makita over and over in your sleep and the best part about it is your wife will have no clue! In the morning she will be like "Chris, I thought you liked festool, what's up with makita all the sudden" hahahaDude, I'm going to bed.....with sweet dreams of sugar plu.....ioritas in my head

There Used To Be A Running Joke Amongst A Few Friends Back In high school that whenever any of us were online (AIM days) late at night, that all my buddies were probably looking at porn and they all joked that I was probably looking at tools! Haha, sad thing is that more often than not they were right. Lol!!

Lol.. I knew I was gonna catch shit for that! it wssnt until after the 7th time watching the video I started to realize they were holding tools
If anyone did happen to pause it at 1:13 you will notice how smokin hot Miss Makita is looking

Phew!! I see they are using D cells in their batteries now
Pause it at 1:13/1:14 I'm pretty sure senorita Makita is holding the not yet released XDT09 impact. Way to compact not to be, looks exactly like the DTD148!!

That thing is pretty neat! It's crazy how much more lax the safety standards were back then!!
Does it do anything other than table saw? Looks like it could be a lathe and drill press also.. maybe disc sander or bench grinder also with the right attachments
-
There is no doubt it has some cool factor to it.. maybe a little too over the top! I can't see it being practical for efficient tool storage and use.. definitely setup for show in its current configuration, not work!
it just so happens that its a very blah combination of tool/truck for me.. now, like i said earlier.. had it been a different combination im sure i would be singing a different song
The tool link feature is really cool, is there anything like that available to retrofit into current tools of any brand?

great looking shop, equipment and really nice looking feild!!
wanna take a trip up north and give my lawn the royal treatment next year

Oh NER i thought you are a festool snob
And now you reveal that information haha
HAHA. I sure do like my Festool but I haven't gotten into any of their cordless tools.. they really don't have a big selection of tools in their lineup, I don't think their offerings are any better than what makita or others have and I really don't like that their quick change chucks use a proprietary bit called "centrotec" rather than just the standard 1/4" bit..

Ford? Dewalt? hope it has road side assistance.....lol
LOL!! Good one Comp! I knew I liked you!!!
-
the 745 is the only dewalt tool i own so im probably not the best source of dewalt info.
My understanding is that the 745 is actually a older/retired model (possibly still availible from time to time as a special) and the 7480 and 7490 models are the newer, updated models
aside from the rip capacity and rpm differences hatter pointed out there are tweaks to things like the riving knife, blade gaurd.. the 7490 has some improvements to really help with dust collection
I sold my Bosch 4100 for the 745 due to the fact that the bosch was just too big. I am an onsite contractor so size and weight are very important to me.
I never once regretted getting the 745. it is a great saw, very compact, plenty of power (i never noticed the lack of rpm compaired to my bosch) super simple to use and very accurate for what it is..
keep an eye out for holiday deals on the 745.. if you can save some money over the 7480 i would definitely say go with the 745

Geez... I didnt think ford trucks could get any worse than they already are.. Then again, paint it yellow and stuff it full of Dewalt tools and there you go! lol
Now, if you took a GMC/Chevy and filled it with Festool or Makita, that my freinds would be a real truck!!!
Hahaha just playing around guys
-
It is
Hell yeah!! I was hoping it was, thanks for confirming! I couldn't find any info that directly linked the two..
-
Regopit, I too would love to get my hands on that!! I have already emailed Milwaukee about brining it over. I suggest everyone who would like to see it doe the same!!
I just sent it through their "contact" tab on their website, I think I selected "product inquiry" as question route.
I'm all for festool and everything but I really cant wrap my head around being stuck with Centrotec bits.. and to be honest I don't think they have the nicest most innovative drills anyway.. but, the eccentric chuck is hands down sick!!

No clue what the quality is like but at a regular price of $65, 24 people rate it 4.9/5 that's pretty good.. for $15 they seem like a steal
